one of the intro video's glitch out.
Have to turn down quite a bit of settings to lower choices than otherwise should have to in order to achieve stable 60fps.
Two crashes so far, but unable to determine a reason.
The constant hitching/suttering is nauseating. I couldn't even play for 5 to 10 minutes without feeling sick.
mouse cursor is juttery and hard to move/repostion off screen/out of sight
Constant hitching/stuttering
Tried changing from Experimental, to Hotfix, all the way down to proton 7; all ran terribly.
The constant crashing/black screen problem needs to be fixed before any regular user could just boot up the game and play it.
Launches in a small window every single time, must ALT+Enter or go into options and configure to fullscreen and screen size.
GPU and CPU usage are nowhere near consistant and frame-rate seems to occasionally dip to 30 regardles if at 100% or even 40% GPU usage. very bizzare.
constant crashing to a black screen. game typically stays open but no audio with black screen. have to use steam or system manager to force the game closed and relaunch.
Good start as it installs and runs with no tinkering or launch options requred but the crashing after that is a massive problem.
Axis 7 (Paddle on back of Thruster Control) is not detected in-game, rendering default inputs unusable. Windows has no problem with this controller and this game, and PoP-OS detects it perfectly so for some reason its just ED on Linux not detecting this single input.
Its likely this is a problem with other controllers as well where one set of inputs from a controller is likely to not be detected. Switching modes and replugging has no effect to correct this problem.
Game runs great at first, but without using GE certain movies/cutscenes do not display properly and give a color test video instead.
Game first launches in a tiny window and alt+enter did nothing until i got to the settings and manually changed resolution and to exclusive. now it works fine, unsure what the original problem was. could be problematic for users on a small device/monitor.
Game runs great and found no issues until just under 2 hours in when cutscenes started giving out issues and only showing a color/static test image. Had to installed GE to fix it as none of the proton versions would correct the problem.
Runs and plays beautifully, fairly 'basic' in terms of graphics so no doubt will run great on probably anything.
Its pretty much a point and click rpg adventure, as such not very demanding. Runs incredibly well and very enjoyable to play. No doubt a great experience on either a handheld, laptop, or desktop.
Fantastic RPG so far; Runs as expected for my hardware, some minor visual bugs and other issues the dev's are actively working on.
An absolutely phenomal remaster of a game i've loved for 2+ decades, needs a couple fixes however.
Occasinally exiting a dungeon/area or for no discernable reason the game will HARD-CRASH my entire system;screen goes full black or white and system reboots automatically. only once has the crash only killed the game, every other time its been the entire system.
other than official support for mod's, the absolute biggest problem right now is the hard system crashing. if your lucky the crash will just cause the game itself only to crash but seems more likely it will just kill the entire system causing a reboot. absolutely needs a fix.
Can not install game Host_IEVersionFail
Can not install the game if you bought it long before it came out on steam by adding it as a non-steam game and using proton, so unless you wish to re-buy it, you will need to make a manual wine-install for it which is a massive headache.
