The constant hitching/suttering is nauseating. I couldn't even play for 5 to 10 minutes without feeling sick.
mouse cursor is juttery and hard to move/repostion off screen/out of sight
Constant hitching/stuttering
Tried changing from Experimental, to Hotfix, all the way down to proton 7; all ran terribly.

with the latest proton the game open but don't recognize keyboard inputs
Sometimes the game freeze fo a second, maybe loading something

dmc 2 pls

Mouse pointer stays on screen. You could hide it using something like unclutter if it bothers you.

Works great with a few quirks
Sometimes requires Alt+Enter on launch to get it to fullscreen completely
Some areas, usually during dialog, dropped to about 66 FPS for some reason, but quickly went back up to my framerate cap of 144. Not sure if this is behavior that happens on Windows as well or not.

Everything works fine

Didn't work with newer versions of Proton.

90fps on SteamDeck OLED

During gameplay vertical axis of mouse would invert, but it returned to normal in menus.
Physics are tied to framerate. I suggest locking the game to 60 fps.
As long as you lock the framerate it should be playable.

I was able to load mine cloud save game, play this game at highest settings and vsync. However I prefer it preformance over look, so I mainly play 1600x900 [high graphical settings]

40fps limit and 7 Watt
Endlessly stuck on "Running install script" for VCRedist 2005.

Starts up and runs perfectly. Fully stable. Ran on big picture mode 3400x1440p @ 144Hz ultrawide resolution no problem. Dualsense controller working fine. Using Wayland
Only works on GE
16:10 support its also nice

infelizmente eu estou jogando esse jogo...dando opinião
o jogo está prefeito,sem nenhum tipo de erro,leg,baixo fps,travamento !
funciona de boas !!
Just run and play ;)
Finished game without issues
Works perfectly fine

Old game which ran fine at highest settings. Played about an hour.
Occasional freeze on exit
The game runs at a consistent 60fps on high graphics preset. There is some stuttering immediately after a scene change, but it settles down very quickly.
Perfect out of the box.
The mouse doesn't hide when the game starts. It can bother a little, but after a few minutes you don't even notice anymore.
Runs well enough, could beat the game.
Mouse stays visible
Occasional hiccups
Work very well
Mouse indicator was visible

5.11-GE-3-MF GloriousEggroll GloriousEggroll
Didn't work with default Proton. Switching to 5.11-GE-3-MF GloriousEggroll was enough to make it fully playable.
Runs as expected on LTS or backport nVidia drivers
Splash Logos show, crashes at main menu
Working ok with 4.11-13. Crashed with 5.0-3
Completed the full game with no unexpected crashes or bugs
Sometimes on launching the game the mouse cursor remained visible, a minor distraction in-game.
Works great out of the box with latest proton.
Ran flawlessly at 4k60 for at least the first 3 missions; some micro stuttering that was probably related to shaders - try ACO.
Played the game until the end, only minor slowdowns on cutscenes.
it could be just my gamepad but i found it to be laggy for me

Won't launch.

Installed dotnet40 using winetricks, followed a similar process than described here: https://github.com/redmcg/wine/wiki
Was able to complete Bloody Palace and training with Vergil without any issue.
