Almost flawless
When leaving the game windows, the game often closes completly.
Apart from the bug described above, the game worked perfectly, whether online or offline.
I was almost never able to reach the game menu, when I did I couldn't play with my mouse as it was catched by the desktop and not the game.
I tried several GE and proton versions, and added multiples launch options.
When trying to play with keyboard and mouse, clicking would make the game window disappear.
Mouse never picked by game.
The game starts 1 time out of 10, where it just freezes even before the main menu.
Didn't manage to make it work.
Appart from adding the launch option (the game doesn't launch otherwise) everything works as supposed to.
eval $(echo "%command%" | sed 's/Chivalry2Launcher.exe/TBL\/Binaries\/Win64\/Chivalry2-Win64-Shipping.exe/')
Multiplayer works as well as it would natively.
DRI_PRIME=1 %command% -nojoy -novid -noforcemaccel -threads 16
With the launch commands, the games runs really well.
Perfect, works flawlessy out of the box.
Game works perfectly with the latest Proton GE or less perfectly with older proton version (I tested Proton5-13 and Proton6-3)
Works fine out of the box but to have multiplayer you have to go in the game propoerties and selection Proton6-3 in the compatiblity section. In my experience though ProtonGE was better since, with Proton6-3, I couldn't leave the game's windows and come back to it (if I did it I just had a black screen. But I have a bad PC so...
SteamDeck=1 gamemoderun %command%
Weird artefacts around objects, probably the game's fault and not Linux's. Disabling ambient shadows and using FSR rather than DLSS fixed it for me.
Without SteamDeck=1, the game wouldn't launch.
Switching to proton GE 8-4 makes the game run perfectly.
