Not Working through Steam or Litrus
Tried downloading ubisoft connect through litrus and running the game normally through ubisoft and even tried launching from litrus and neither solution worked, and both only resulted in just a splash screen and then the game closing. I even thought that maybe the wrong file was opening and checked to ensure that litrus was attempting to open the correct executable.
After that. I Ttied through Steam, (Even went as far as buying the game... Only 5 bucks) and that did not work either, but the error there is a error pop-up stating that a uplay install could not be detected.

SteamDeck=1 %command% --no-launcher
Haven't tried running without SteamDeck=1 and --no-launcher but apparently they prevent online play.
SteamDeck=1 %command%

SteamDeck=1 %command% --no-launcher
ÖNEMLİ!!! Ubisoft Connect ayarlarından Oyun içi arayüzü ile ilgili olan ayarı kapatın. Böylelikle artık diğer denemenizde açılacaktır. İyi oyunlar.

SteamDeck=1 %command%
add SteamDeck=1 %command% to work, add --no-launcher if stuck on loading

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Without setting "SteamDeck=1" as a launch parameter Ubisoft Connect would start, but not For Honor. Using a 9070XT, which Steam doesn't seem to recognize. Performance is visibly worse than native, and I can attribute that to immature drivers. Leave it to Ubisoft to completely misunderstand their hacking issue and block Linux.

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Game runs without any issue when you add the launch commands. Ubisoft overlay even worked just fine. The launcher closes itself when the game exits, which is even better! No more having to close it manually! For those struggling to play, this is your fix! 💜

Able to run the game last the launcher screen with the SteamDeck command and the use of GE-Proton
SteamDeck=1 %command%
Had issues before where running the game via normal proton/expremental/hotfix. Turns out if you use the latest version of GE along with putting SteamDeck=1 %command% I was able to boot past the launcher and get into the main menu of the game, loaded up 1 1v1 game with no issues and training against AI.
The Ubisoft Overlay does give some glitches if you launch it via the Shift + F2 shortcut but if you launch it in the menus like inviting your friends, i could use it as normal
I found a workaround to make it work, you need to add SteamDeck=1 %command% in launch options
SteamDeck=1 gamemoderun %command%

Work with the command, but i still have some problem with overlay of ubisoft (could be my fault)
SteamDeck=1 %command%
Tried a couple of match and it work good with the launch command, just the thing is that i can't use overlay of ubisoft anymore (could be my fault when i tried to make it work with protontrick) that make difficult add new friend and make party.

No longer runs after Y9S1 update
Ubisoft launcher will run, For Honor splash screen will show and then disappear shortly after. Game will never load.
Opening the ubisoft launcher Steam creates and attempting to run For Honor from there throws a very helpful "unable to start" error.
Attempted with Proton Experimental, Hotfix, and the latest version of GE.

The launcher starts, but not the game!
gamemoderun %command%
The launcher loads and I get to the point I see the For Honor splash screen. After a few minutes, the splash closes and nothing happens. Before the last update it was working perfectly, so I have no idea what they did.

Ubisoft play launches but for honor crashes on startup
gamemoderun %command% --no-launcher
the ubislop launcher runs fine but the actual game dose not.
Opens Launcher, Crashes at game

After the Y9S1 update it didn't start anymore, before it was working perfectly...
gamemoderun %command%
I've tried several versions of proton, I've disabled the overlay and I think the problem is unfortunately with EAC

After the Y9S1 update it messed up the interaction with 3rd party software which with overlay
nothing works as their overlay or launcher is crashing before the game can launch as any "3rd party software" can cause it to crash before it launches

SteamDeck=1 gamescope -W 3440 -H 1440 -r 144 -f -e -- %command%
DS5 controller was not detected until I swapped from GE-26 to Experimental
Use Proton Experimental and run as SteamDeck WITH gamescope! Game would not launch properly for me otherwise.

The Launcher launches but not the game.
gamemoderun PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% --no-launcher
Tried a few proton/wine/ge versions, and a veriety of launch options and everything works fine up to the point where ubisoft's reduculously useless bloatware launches the game at which point it crashes with no errors or useful crash logs.

uplay launches but for honor crashes on startup
--no-launcher %command%
uplay launches but for honor crashes on startup. unfortunatly not playable in current state. :(

Error at launch
--no-launcher
When launched it give back the error " Unable to start the game This product cannot be activated right now, please try again later. Even after some time give back that same error, i tried to disable the ubisoft overlay too by modifing the setting.yaml overlay: false at the address: ../compatdata//pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Ubisoft Game Launcher/settings.yam tried even different version of proton, from GE to experimental 9.04.. but nothingl
Ubisoft luncher takes a while but game itself works flawlessly.
--no-launcher
Low FPS in Main Menu. After deactivating V-Sync ingame, everything's fine.

Voice Chat doesnt work
--no-launcher and that the voice chat no work

go to desktop mode to make the ubisoft login process easier
in gaming mode, ubisoft connect won't register input from virtual keyboard correctly. once you successfully logged in, the window basically just checking an update. when you play for the first time, there are multiple ubisoft connect popup that will annoys you, disable it on ubisoft connect
only on loading screen sometimes

Occasionally disconnects from lobbys despite network being stable.
Ubisoft overlay also works with no issue.

--no-launcher
Occasionally, the game would cause my PC's graphical output to freeze entirely, causing me to force shutdown.
If the game suddenly stops finding your uplay/ubisoft connect, use protontricks to completely wipe the For Honor prefix and then launch again from steam. It'll reinstall ubisoft connect and you'll be good to go.

IMPORTANT: This game's online component will not work via Lutris, unless you manage to get the anti-cheat files from the Steam version (Ubi only patched the Steam version with proper Linux support)

Fantastic experience.. & FPS!
Works like a charm... highest settings & still got 144Fps, as happy as I can be

Everything works out of the box, even Ubisoft Connect's overlay works even if it takes 10 seconds to load the first time you open it.

The multiplayer wich is the games main focus disconnects you for no reason and tabing out can crash the game
Singleplayer Runs Prefectly but Multiplayer lobbys are scuffed. Sometimes you will get randomly disconnected and cant reconnect its even worse then on windows
Tabing out can crash the application or cause you to disconnect from your muliplayer session
Multiplayer lobbys are unstable

I Can't join online games. Game lunches fine.
PROTON_EAC_RUNTIME="/home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime/"
I have tried every thing that I could find online to solve my problem but to no avile. I can not join any online matches and get kicked out of match-making as soon as my game tries to join a match and I get hit with MM penalty.
Worked pretty much flawlessly out of the box, besides the VERY occassional (maybe literally two frames every 15 minutes) frame drop.

Performance on par with WIndows on X.Org and DWM. On Wayland and KDE I had severe framepacing issue. Probably a 555.58 and KDE issue. (delete hitokiri)

gamemoderun %command% --no-launcher
Game opens on wrong monitor, and cannot full-screen it with Alt+Enter
Game crashes my whole GPU (this could be Wayland issue, or just high temperatures issue)
You have to add --no-launcher to your Launch Options, otherwise game won't let you play Online

gamemoderun PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% --no-launcher
Windows-like performance, multiplayer doesn't work if launched through Ubisoft Connect. Some people recommend disabling V-Sync, however on my machine it works smoother with it on.

Works perfectly fine right now, but your milage may vary
You need to exit out of a driver warning every time you launch the game. I also have a friend with more significant bugs and crashing
