Works awesome out the box, but would suggest lowering settings for battery life, 40FPS cap looks and works great.
Lowered settings for battery life vs quality
Ingame Vsync - Off / Chromatic - Low / Draw Distance - High / Shadow Maps - High / Volumetrics - Med / Ambient Occlusion - Med / DOF - High / Contact Shadows - High / Light shafts - High / SSAO - Med / AA - Ultra / Textures - High
The above seems to work great for visuals vs battery life. Drop draw distance, light shafts, shadows to medium and SSR to off if wanting more battery life. I lowered the resolution to 1152x720 with FSR to get a sharper image, but that's optional!
Minus the weird Killer Croc visual glitch at the very start of th game... I played the whole title no problems, looks and worked great.

DX11 enhanced should be used for AO and Geomerty, avoid for DOF and shadows as I found they don't add enough visual to performance ratio! Phsyx also has a heavy performance tank.
Killer Croc intro battle has graphics glitchs.
If inital Croc glitch is fixed, could see this being marked as verified!
eval $(echo "%command%" | sed 's/Chivalry2Launcher.exe/TBL\/Binaries\/Win64\/Chivalry2-Win64-Shipping.exe/')
Lower graphics, use DX12
I do Fullscreen 1152x720 with FSR upscaling, looks sharper then native, medium settings, high textures, low post processing runs great! Can even try DX12 which runs just as well and use XESS if that interests you. If the devs could fix the launch command issue it would be SD verified IMHO.
Works great now, EAC Anticheat should be installed on the SD by default thesedays. Medium works well, can tweak further if you like.
12W TDP
Needs a large text option, but still readable.
Should be verified at this point, EAC just works now, never had a crash, works in DX11 or 12. Seems good!
Switch to Proton 7, use Vulkan render in game, instantly a smooth expierence, hitting 60FPS with Medium settings
Default Proton choice (Version 9) doesn't perform well
Crash with Proton 9.
Have racked up a lot of hours with this game on SD, far more than I did on PC, can run it at 9w @ 40FPS or uncap TDP and 60FPS most areas!
Used 1152x720 with FSR with sharpening, helps with the blurry TAA.! Textures on ultra, shadows on medium, decals high, lighting high, godrays low, Bokeh and SSAO. All other options ticked! fade options I wouldn't go too high IMHO, not enough of a visual benefit, grass can be pretty low and the others a bit under the middle point. I've kept Distance / object fade on high.
Good stuff!
Works well, used similar settings to the review below, set AA to high,it looks a bit more stable, turned VSYNC off, TSR looks better vs FSR
Good art design, global illumination and colour choice shines in this game.
Lowered mouse senstivty to lowest for better controls, mouse smoothing on.
If it's sitting the the library or cheap to buy, give it a go on the SD!
-dx11
Had to make the mic input blank in INI so it comes through. Recent issue since 7.0 patch, worked fine prior!
Broken mic Input since patch 7.0, manual fix required
Crashes due to maxing out ram/pagefile after multiple games (and using DX11)
Works okay, can dip to 20FPS on big maps & full servers in packed areas...as Squad does! Seems like SteamOS 3.6 helps greatly with crashing due to ram usage as the game uses 12-14GB on large maps.
Changed AA options, think 2x MSAA works well!
Can squeeze a lot of play time out of this, I'd suggest turning down the 4x MSAA to 2x to get even more battery. Looks great, runs great.
Works out the box. Suggest bumping most settings to medium, keep textures high and use the TAA upscaling. Fun stuff
Gyro & back buttons makes the game way more playable! Highly reccomend.
Worked pre SteamOS 3.5 and the big game patch in October. Now it's a black screen and reboot or forced reboot. Tried experimental / GE etc.
Shame, it was on shaky grounds in prior patches performance wise, but it did work!
Change the default window setting to bordless fullscreen or fullscreen to fix current crashes...otherwise it runs better then before.
Lowered graphics, I've found FSR 1.0 on quality beats FSR 2.0 in this title on the SD.
Game is set to Windowed by default, this seemed to CTD on setting changes, switch to borderless/fullscreen to fix.
Crashes when in default "Window" mode on graphics setting changes.
Support getting better, runs better then attempts 5 months ago.
Played through the whole game on SD, worked great, avoid dynamic resolution IMHO - doesn't work well in this title.
Lowered ingame resolution with FSR upscaling - less blury & better FPS.
Works great, try 1152x720 borderless with FSR upscaling for a cleaner image as the games TAA is clean but blury. Avoid the highest settings on SD, diminshing returns.
Runs great, I use 8W TDP as 7W would dip FPS during the bigger battles, otherwise runs at 60FPS!
All high settings, Ambient occlusion on but not HBAO+. 8W TDP
Fun game, great for the SD.
