It runs, but no sound at all. You would be able to play, but wouldn't hear any music or alerts.
audio is completely missing
Works well if you stay tabbed in with multiple monitors.
Sometimes the mouse gets stuck in corner with multiple Displays
Works almost flawlessly
Game sometimes starts minimized. Just alt+tab into it. Didn't had any other problems.

If not already done, create the folder: /home//.steam/steam/compatibilitytools.d/
download: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases
unzip it into the previously created folder. If steam is still running, restart it, and select this custom proton version in the compatibility tool options under properties -> general
Crashes, when launching in VR
When i launch No Man's Sky through SteamVR, it crashes and shows an Error Message. I'm not sure if it's because of the Frontier Update, because it worked before. The Desktop Version does work normally.
a bit of latency problems. Could be resolved by adding
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 %command%
to launch options.
sometimes it resetted the window scale
