You have to edit the first two lines with your X and Y resolutions (in my example, I'm going for 1280x800): Code: SCREENWIDTH:1280 SCREENHEIGHT:800 SHOWFPS:0 FULLSCREEN:1

Not sure, if this has anything to do with running on Linux, but 8 Steam achievements were incorrectly unlocked for me after just creating and starting the game with a couple of characters.

Was having an issue where the game would close before the splash screen. Installing 32-bit drivers and a reboot has fixed the issue.
Installing 32-bit drivers was simply pacman -S lib32-nvidia-utils
.

Cursor likes to get stuck on bottom corner when resolution doesn't take up full screen. Rebooting fixes, and it isn't an issue when set to a full screen resolution to my knowledge.
Rare freezing that required a game restart. Seems to have improved in newer Proton versions.
Custom resolutions (1280x800) can be set using config.dat located at /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/246840/pfx/drive_c/ProgramData/WildTangent/FateSteam/Persistent/
Runs like a champ!
It just works!

Will CTD if using the latest Proton as of this report. Reverting to 5.0-10 fixed this and it ran perfectly.
Runs fine from install with Proton 7.03. No issues in 20 hours.
Works Perfectly, Like Native
Game runs better than on Windows. Would consider it perfect
Works out of the box
Perfect experience, like it was made to be played on Linux
Works out of the box
the game has not windowed mode so it may be necessary to change the main screen temporarily so that the game runs on the desired monitor (only in case of having more than 1 monitor)
Runs like native, no issues whatsoever.

Doesn't launch
When I click on Play, game launches and immediately quits. Not even a splashscreen. Library is on NTFS, but all the other steamplay games are running from there fine. Tried different fstab options, but nothing works.

Works perfectly out of the box. Did not initially start in 1080p widescreen but was easily fixed with a settings toggle in game. Unsure if this is normal behaviour on Windows but in any case was not an issue.

just works

I didn't find any problems. Plays like on Windows

No issues at all. The variable performance is a result of the bad optimization work during game development which also affects the Windows version in the exact same manner.

Absolutely perfect, haven't found a single flaw, finished the game (started in WINE).

No issues at all! A childhood classic.

No issues whatsoever and still a fun game. =]
