Game does not start anymore with Proton 4.11-2. It used to work with older versions (with some graphics glitches though).
Still no audio in cut scenes.
Lighting is now ok. Transparency is sometimes not working, on plants for example.
Got a crash after talking with the old man on the ferry.

Plants transparency is now ok with Proton 5.0-2
Esync on: textures are very low res, pause menu takes a very long time to appear. Esync off: everything is fine, however there is some stuttering when entering a room for the first time, then it's fine (shader compilation probably).
Now runs out of the box without launch options with Proton 3-16.6. Textures are still very low res. Saving takes a very long time (I thought the game froze).
No problem with the game. However Origin can sometimes be a pain.
Be very patient the first time you run the game (Origin installing and who knows what happening before the game window appears).
Plays very well at 60 fps with high detailed graphics. Some minor glitches here and there :
- transition black screen flickers
- sometimes there is a texture-less small triangle on a character (may occur on Windows too)
- sometimes a shadow looks a bit weird (may occur on Windows too)
Uplay overlay is disabled. The first time Uplay was installed, clicking the Far Cry 3 launch button had no effect. After restarting Steam once after Uplay installation I am now able to start the game directly from Steam without issue.
Works out of the box. Some small lags in cut scenes when the shot changes.
I use ACO for shader compilation (RADV_PERFTEST=aco)
Plays perfectly with small issues:
- mouse cursor missing when signing in Rockstar Social Club which makes the process challenging.
- highlighted objects showing as black stains.
- minor stuttering during the first minutes of the game (probably shaders compilation).
Completely black fullscreen window. Music plays. Can quit with Alt+F4. Disabling Esync has no effect.
