Use " PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command% "in the launch options and the game should just works fine
I tried every launch options that I knew, but nothing could make this game works without significant lag (even with the PhysX turned off)
I had a recurring problem with fullscreen where I couldn't open my game anymore. It would begin after I used alt tab at some point of the game. Even closing and opening the game again would not fix the issue. The only way I found to bypass this problem (even if it sounds INSANE) was trying to open the window and initiliazing my screenshot software (Flameshot) at the same time, but this only seems to work on the main menu. Using bordeless windowed mode worked perfectly, tho.
I had performance issues in a lot of areas. Sub 40fps in almost all my play time. It's still playable, tho.
Working fine with Proton Experimental
Trying to open Steam Overlay just freezes the game.
Besides the overlay problem, Pathologic seems to run good enough (for a 2005 russian indie(?) game).
Xbox controller stops working after using alt tab, but you just need to press alt + enter and everything comes back to normal
