As others have said, you'll want to set start up options of: `PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -nointro`
If you get a crash during save then the save is gone
Rename Borderlands 2.exe to Launcher.exe
It's the only thing I run that tries to use the HDMI audio instead of the KDE configured audio. Need to turn HDMI audio off in system settings to hear anything because I use speakers on line out.
The high res texture pack causes problems when exiting the game, and in Sanctuary. Had to turn the DLC off.
Shift and LAN multi-player don't work
Need mf-install and mf-installcab for videos to work
Locked up on first run, but worked fine on second
Game starts to stutter after a couple of hours of running. Re-starting fixes it.
Crashes with a render threading time out on older Proton versions
Need to try the different audio options VSX offers on start up to see what works best for your set up.
