Yeah, for me the performance was OK. Same as on windows, but it is atlas... and hasn't ran good on my pc. ever.
It's atlas, what did you expect?
The game is a big bug.
Battle eye protected servers won't work.
Performance is bad, a lot of graphical glitches.
Raytracing glitches, player model looks like a disco ball
Very low performance, even comparing to windows.
Default arma launcher doesn't work. You can use the Arma 3 unix launcher
These are my startup parameters in steam to skip the launcher: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -nosplash -nolauncher -world=empty -skipintro -noLogs -enableHT -hugepages
It had some hard stutters the first time shooritn and driving a vehicle. But that went away after a while.
Opening the map the map stays in the characters left hand and icons (from the map) apear in the middle of the screen. The map doens't fold out.
Since the game is using battleeye it won't launch by default. You can get around this by renaming ArmaReforgerSteam.exe to ArmaReforger_BE.exe. Sadly you won't be able to play multiplayer.
Game works when choosing 'No Launcher' at startup (No Mods).
To get the launcher and mods working you need to install dotnet452 and set the windows version to Win7. After that the launcher should work.
Started the game worked without any problems audio cars menus settings everything works out of the box. Performance is the same as on normal windows.
It's release day, really hoped that it would work on linux on release.
This hardware should be able to run the game with at least 50% more fps, going below 45 fps and stuttering every few seconds isn't playable.
A lot of reviews are saying that the performance is great and playable but for me it really isn't.
The performance is about 50% less then benchmarks ran on windows 10.
Every few seconds the game stutters heavily making it really annoying to just stay in the lanes at 100 km/h so races definitely aren't playable.
Voice recognition did not seem to work. (Testen on 2 linux clients)
Runs great, played multiplayer without any problems.
Friend simply invited me through steam and we started playing.
Fullscreen makes the game stutter so windowed/fullscreen windowed mode is recommended.
Singleplayer and the builder are but multiplayer i dropped as low as 7 fps even when there was only 1 vehicle in render distance. No difference when i change graphic settings
I could not select 1440p or 1080p so had to play windowed or i would just get borders at the top and the bottom of my screen.
There were some FPS problems but I was running the game on high on 1440p with around 30 fps.

My game runs at 30 FPS max. Settings doesn't really change anything.
Without the launch option my entire desktop crashes and logs out

The grass looks like plastic on epic settings
The game runs on EPIC 1440p from 50 to 90 fps, using campfires lowers it to 20.
It runs about the same as on windows i would say. My friend with a 1080 ti had difficulties running the game on medium on windows.
Well the game just runs bad at the moment on all platforms.
Doesn't start without proton experimental (bleeding edge) for me
I tried using proton experimental like i did on desktop, also tried the proton experimental bleeding edge but that also did't fix my problem.
Game runs but not great
It was playable but on low with 1080p settings +/- 40 fps
If you have a better pc then me the game may run fine.
Game runs great without any problems.
I even got mods working with the my summer car mod loader running through wine. (starting it using the wine filebrowser)

The farmhouse maps and asylum map is really lagging (12 fps also with Proton Eggroll)
There is a problem with the voice recognition (Requires cortana to work). And sometimes other maps then Farmhouse/Asylum start to lagg but that is often fixed with a reboot. (It seems that it doesn't run at all on laptops)
Installed it, Started it and i played it. Experienced no problems with anything, if you have a controller and have xpadneo installed it also fully works without any problems.

Pressing play and loading into the game the UI shows up but thats it. I tried multiple proton versions, and multiple launch options.
Seems to be broken on AMD cards.
Both my pc and the Steamdeck both are unable to run the game.
There is a UI but when playing the game everything stays black.

When I alt - F4 the game the saves of my friends get corrupted.
Game runs good on proton but is borked on native linux. (Tested With Proton Experimental)
Everything works accept for the realistic battles
