I had to set PYTHONIOENCODING=utf-8 as environment variable for my Steam Client. It did not work to just add it as a launch command option. In U-Play I disabled the ingame overlay.
Hit install, wait, play.
After Alt-Tab the Window is not over the task bar anymore. Might be an KDE issue though.
Without disabling D3D11 the menu does not load and my system crashes. With Disbale D3D11 everything is fine.
I needed to do protontricks xact for sound to work and bBackgroundMouse=1 in the fallout4custom.ini for the mouse to stop jumping. Only problem left is I need to disable my second screen otherwise one mouse direction is locked.
Runs great so far. Sometime there are some lag spikes, after entering a new area.
Mesa Aco greatly improves the shader build time, stutter when entering a level is almost completely gone.
mesa-aco-git 20.0.0_devel.20191107.2e64afa5e39-1 installiert
- Set sound to alsa: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/221680/pfx winetricks sound=alsa
- WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/221680/pfx winecfg mapping Z: to ~/.steam/steam (match this to your steam library folder)
- Open Rocksmith.ini in Steamapps Rocksmith folder and set the following: ExclusiveMode=0 and Win32UltraLowLatencyMode=0
- In pavucontrol -> configuration: set Rocksmith Guitar Adapter to off
- Open /etc/pulse/daemon.conf and set the following: default-fragments = 5 and default-fragment-size-msec = 2
There remains a little lag for the guitar output, but I can get used to it.
Thank to all previous effort.
Game works great. Without PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 I had crashes during flash point loads. They are gone now.
Only obstacle is to install GloriousEggrolls Proton build to Steam otherwise it is clicking play.
