I had problems at first entering full screen with my i3 setup, it kept tiling the window, after some tinkering i got it to fullscreen, after switching workspaces and the monitor the workspace is in.
There is a problem that the game process stays open when exiting normally (you cant kill the process) if you kill the process before exiting normally it works.
