Switching the Proton version is required. Otherwise it would insta crash for me
If you bought the game on GoG, try Heroic with Proton 8. Worked great for me
Launches, connection to servers unreliable at best
Got it to load into a game once for 30 seconds or so. After this it's either not connecting or just crashes after trying to load a game (tried Open, Private Group and Solo)

Ran the following in the Terminal, close Steam before executing: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/359320/pfx winetricks mf
Sometimes launches
It sometimes launches, but then crashes once i try to load up a campaign. Tried everything suggested in other reports. Works flawless on my other system with the same settings and add-ons

Played for a few hours with a few frinds, had no issues
If you've just set me in front of the launched gaame i would never have noticed it's running on Linux and not Windows. Absolutely no problems during gameplay for me

No issues with multiplayer. Played with some friends to test that
Everything worked out great for me with both of my systems. Install, launch and have fun playing
