NVIDIA not working properly

If I let the game think my GPU is from AMD it works, but if I try to make it recognize my GPU as being from NVIDIA the game crashes a few seconds after being launched. Can't even get to the menu that way.

I tried this game with GloriousEggroll's latest custom version of Proton, 6.15-GE-2, and the game just worked like it works on Windows.

Unfortunelly the game oftem crashes.
If the game didn't crash frequently and also didn't have frame pacing issues it would've been a great experience.
It works nicely but I doubt the average Windows user would like to have to tinker with launch options and copy saves manually.

Works well with the launch options I used and recognizes the previous version's save files after copy/pasting them manually. I can also use XeSS on my Radeon without problems. Some games for some reason don't even allow that.
I had crashes the first time I tried playing the game but it seems like those crashes had something to do with Gnome since the System Monitor also crashed when in full screen and after disabling an extension for the Gnome DE and restarting the machine I played the game until the first encampment without a problem.
- Still works fine after the initial stutters. - Doesn't have the annoying foliage flicker. - DLSS just doesn't show in the games settings.
Gave me what it looks like big shader compilation stutters which I didn't have with Proton Experimental but at the same time it solved all the foliage flicker I was having.

After going out of the safe zone for the first time the game froze and I had to close it. After that every time I tried it with different proton versions it crashed right after launching.
gamemoderun PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Deleted screeninfo.cfg using ProtonTricks. That's the file were the game stores it's settings.
The game crashes if I dare to change any of the graphical settings. Doesn't matter if I increase or decrease one of the settings the result is always the same: crashes. I'm only allowed to play with the graphical settings the game itself choses for me. Besides that other settings like frame capping the game to 60fps and disabling v-sync didn't incur in constant crashes. The problem doesn't seem to be VRAM related since the game itsef sets textures to Ultra and won't allow me tune them down to high.
