Window mode doens't work. Switched to Fullscreen Windowed mode
Windowed mode not working for me

works perfectly
Works perfectly, arguably better than on windows

had 15fps when running vulkan shaders, i swapped to directx12 in the ingame menu and the game was running perfectly

Personally am using ultra settings with DLSS on balanced mode. Runs great, slight drops in the NPC towns and with heavy particles. Consistently around 80-100FPS otherwise.

Vulkan, resolution 800x600, frameGen FSR 3.1.2 + dlss, all low setting, audio quality low, fps lock 30, steam deck FSR 5
in some places
game is not optimized for steam deck, almost all the time there were lags
To play this game at the moment is to kill yourself and your console, the game is maximally not optimized for the game, now the game version is 0.2.0 until now there are no changes for the better. I'm just shocked that this game has a platinum badge.

If you use Fullscreen; sometimes when you activate another window and then go back to PoE2 the game will switch to Windowed mode and you have to change the setting back to fullscreen.
The Game is still in Early Access and needs optimisation.
The game has a "Adaptive Resolution" feature to maintain framesrates when there is a lot happening on the screen (This is a feature and not a bug); The main problem is that it does not take much for this feature to come into use and the game does not look very good when this happens.
On occassion the adaptive resolution feature does not help and the framerate will drop to unplayable levels.
However, windows users have reported the same performance issues.
The game supports Vulkan which is great for Linux users as it saves time loading shaders, as well as disk space to store them.

To get most of it you should use sched-ext best one for me was scx_rusty
got me more 10-20 FPS
The most crazy trick which idk why it work and gives me more ~20-30FPS! is to change Renderer from DirectX12
to Vulkan
and save then go back to DirectX12
and save! thats magicly adds more FPS!!.
TLDR:
I started with 160-164FPS, With scx_rusty
got 170-180FPS, With renderer trick got 200-210FPS!.
Note:
Im using cachyos-eevdf
kernel
Works great. Both Vulkan and DirectX works, but get better framerate with Vulkan (144fps).

Game works pretty much out of the box with the Vulkan Renderer now. I get 115fps with Vulkan vs 90fps with DX12.

Constant random crashes after the last update, I played the first 70hrs with almost no crashes at all but now is currently unplayed.
Constant random crashes after the last update, I played the first 70hrs with almost no crashes at all but now is currently unplayed.
When the game crash my pc completely freeze and I'm force to reboot.
There is some issue with the last update I have constant crashes very often forcing me to reboot.

While running the game, even in my relatively empty hideout, I would notice a wierd "micro-pause" that would occur every few seconds. I found it sufficiently annoying that I was not playing because of it.
Nothing anomalous in the in game FPS/latency charts seemed to correspond.
Someone else posted something similar indicating that using WIFI under Linux could cause this "micro-pause" / "brief rubber band".
I switched to a wired internet connection and it solved the issue The game is now perfectly smooth.
Seems to be high CPU use or latency issue re: Wifi in Linux?
If you are running into any wierd issues and you are connecting over Wifi - try a wired connection. I was shocked, but it worked for me.

LD_PRELOAD="" %command%
Was a slight stuttering issue for me since the new patch, adding the custom command did the trick. However I've heard it happened to a lot of people so it might not be Linux related. Using native Vulkan rendering ingame.

Vulkan works much better for me than DX12. Try it only with newer driver than 560.xx

DRI_PRIME=1 %command%

The game is hard at the beginning, but it becomes awesome after you learn it and progress through campain.
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libgamemode.so mangohud %command% --nologo --waitforpreload
Everything just works. Vulkan gives me better FPS than DX12, so with nvidia 570.xx drivers I suggest to switch to it.

Aside from the skill preview video problem, everything else seems to work fine. (Could not test intro cinematic.)
Skill preview videos mute all game sound when using Vulkan renderer, and cause a loud noise when using a surround sound (i.e. non-stereo) audio output.
No issues installing or running. Able to run at max settings at 144FPS to match the monitor. Game runs smooth and doesn't contain any glitch

All the potential is behind dx12(at least for my case) (you should set it without mangohud)
Very nice performance, same as windows even with vulkan or dx12

30fps or lower

Path of Exile 2 works right out of the box
The game is great it runs well with my current hardware

Works perfectly without tinkering
No tinkering, install & go. 100+ hours couch co-op with wife without any issue.
Works out of the box!

find ~/ -type f -name "poe2_production_Config.ini" 2>/dev/null Change "renderer_type=Vulkan" to "renderer_type=DirectX12" Once at menu, change the Renderer back through the game settings if you prefer lower latency and more stable frame rate
Crashes are extremely rare but I don't think its an issue with proton

No tinkers. Used to work with multiple proton options. Fine for a few days.Stopped working today. No patches for the game.
Just stopped working. Now none of the protons worked. Game does not load, freezes computer.

Textures take way too long to load, sometimes I get hit by invisible enemies because they haven't loaded yet.
Awful fps compared to Windows, around 100fps when in hideout, but drops to 15fps when doing delirium or breach.
Playing on KDE Plasma.

The game should not be considered platinum by any means. Looks very bad and runs very poorly.

poe2_production_Config.ini -> Chaged renderer_type=Vulkan to renderer_type=DirectX12
FPS drops when a lot of artifacts are rendering
Overall a good experience apart from going into end game and a lot of artifacts need to be rendered. FPS can vary from 113 - 40 FPS. Game was unplayable. Unless you change the settings:
/home/yourUserName/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/poe2_production_Config.ini file
Changed -> renderer_type=Vulkan to renderer_type=DirectX12

Even with all graphics set to minimum with FSR on performance setting, the game struggles to even hit 30 fps and usually hovers in the low 20s and frequently dips below 20 fps. FSR also destroys the visuals of the game, making it an awful blurry mess and many skill effects become nearly invisible, especially ground effects. It is playable, but it does not deserve anywhere near a platinum rating

New linux user. Completely painless! Defaults to Vulkin, and ran even better than it did on Windows for me. Hats off to GGG!

Works out of the box, and didn't need any adjustment
When there are to many particles happening at once, then there is a slight performace drop
Played about 280 hours, with no issue other than small performace drop when there are to many particles, but it's situational and really doesn't bother me

Had some Problems before, but not regarding to the game. Now i had no Problems
