The game seems to be almost capped at 62 FPS
Didn't start with Proton 9.0-3, throwed some error but works with GE-Proton
No problems, no crashes, 100% completed on Proton 9.0-3
Runs great
~45 hours, both DLCs, all content, all achievements no crashes. Used both DX 11 and 12 without problems.

Sometimes I would hear crackling but that could just be CDPR's work and not Proton.
On default Steam Proton 7 the game would sometimes almost lock to 30 or 15 FPS and stay around there.
On default Steam Proton 7 the game would quite frequently crash.
Bought the game in march 2023, launched it with Steam's default Proton 7, was terrible - crashes, freezes, sometimes the FPS would lock to 30 or 15, was thinking of refunding it. Got GE-Proton7-51, it started working somewhat normally, definitely playable. It still was kind of disappointing that 2+ years after release the game was glitchy but realistically it wasn't too bad. Played through several times, did all achievements, ~190 hours, had a good time.
There's also a bug in amdgpu driver that cause the game to freeze and you have to kill the process. You also have to restart your computer if you want to play again because it will freeze soon after launching. A fix was already made, you can compile your own kernel or wait for it to get upstream. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/2457
It's DOOM and it runs great.
The anti-aliasing options with (TX) next to their name cause almost everything to be black, using the non-TX AA options shows no problems.
Runs pretty well, no crashes. Some FPS drops but that's probably just the game, not Proton.
Played a bit over an hour, seems to be running well with no tweaks. 3440x1440 "Favor Performance" preset runs about 70 FPS.

As others have said, need to use the launch options to skip the 2K launcher.

Very rarely I've noticed that muddy ground is displayed in big stripes. It's noticeable but nothing crazy.
Seems to run well, no crashes or stuttering. About 80 FPS on 3440x1440 ultra textures and everything else on low except TAA/FXAA/etc.
Also, the graphics presets don't seem to work but you can change all settings manually.
Didn't have to do anything extra the game just runs.
I think in general the game isn't optimized that well and not a Linux/Proton issue but I still enjoyed it.
My PS5 controller (USB) didn't work
