Switch to windowed and back to full screen
Force Proton version to 9.0-4, otherwise joining multiplayer crashes the game. Have to switch from fullscreen to windowed and back for fullscreen to work properly.
The game starts laggy but after changing the Image Quality the game somehow reloads the graphics and then the game plays fine. This persists over save games also, which is wierd.
To join games with friends I needed to link to Epic Games account and disable Steam overlay. Otherwise it would not join party properly.
Disable Steam overlay. Link to Epic Games account on the menu screen.
The default mouse sensitivity is way too high. Had to drop it down to 15
Cutscenes are jittery
Overall a good exprience

Worked fine, but at the time of writing this it is widely known that the game is buggy and unfinished.
VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_3 VKD3D_SHADER_MODEL=6_7 %command%
First the game crashed with "dx12 not supported" error message. Then I found launch options: "VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 VKD3D_SHADER_MODEL=6_6 %command%". This got the game to lauch but then I was experiencing the game crashing in shader preloading. Tried every trick I found online:
- Deleting .steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/Oblivion Remastered/Engine/Plugins/Marketplace/nvidia
- Tried different Proton versions
- Tried reinstalling
As a last ditch effort I blindly bumped up the VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL to 12_3 and the VKD3D_SHADER_MODEL to 6_7 and the game lauched correctly. I have no idea what values are valid for those variables but my blind guess somehow worked.

Slight crackling of music. NPC voices were fine. Fixed with ye olde launch options: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 %command%
Vehicle information crashes the game but this is not a breaking crash since all the information does is that it tries to launch a web browser to the Wiki.
