Used steam's default Proton version, and the game ran without any problems.

Reduced graphics and set to 60hz and fps
Some frame drops and very high power consumption (19W average according to battery tracker)
Awesome game and pretty playable with most recent proton ge. Haven't tried playing without changing proton version but looking at older reviews I doubt it would be playable without it. What's weird is that game consumes a lot of power and drains battery crazy fast. Except for those slight issues, I enjoyed it.
Got a black screen, loud fans, but never anything else even when leave sitting for several minutes
The game does not launch, I tried different Protons versions but none work.
Does not launch
Completed without issues

It played just like it did on Windows

Story recap videos don't play but you can experience the story in full as long as you don't take month long breaks between sessions
Tested the Amazon Prime Version of the game

Worked for me out of the box, although performance was worse than expected
Game defaulted to Ultra settings, and I had lag spikes and slowdowns on my 144Hz monitor. I can't tell if this is Proton or the game itself overestimating my graphics capabilities. Wasn't enough to bother me, and I think I could probably work around it by turning the settings down.
I played the game for about an hour, and didn't notice anything clearly missing. The animations when smelling a purple scent play, I saw nothing that obviously looked like a "test pattern" and one of my cubs learned a skill fine.

Couldn't make it to the title screen
Tried all versions of Proton (Default, Experimental, Glorious Eggroll, Older versions) and none made it to the title screen

Yes, but the game is very heavy (which is really strange considering its graphic) and drains battery really fast
In some areas the FPS droped a bit
Some videos doesn't work. For example, the "scent" videos doesn't play
Excluding the issues I reported the game is playable.

Tried both default proton and forced Experimental
Missing videos. Splash video at start up and "scent" videos all just show a test pattern. No actual game videos.
Worked perfectly on my system. No slowdowns or other issues encountered.
works ok no bugs but puts alot of stress on the hardware
runs poorly
The game runs great even for my low spec laptop. I had to lower the settings a bit, but I have to do that on all games (even on Windows)
Game runs great on my linux machine
game breaking bug (cubs cannot learn) will not allow you to progress
no lag but game runs really poorly, almost like an AAA game
Starting the game there is a missing asset, checking the historical scent videos are missing. You cannot get your cubs to learn anything. For some reason you can get them to learn stuff in the demo, but not in the main game.

Game froze twice in 30 minutes
Played only the demo
