Runs perfectly, no issues

Works out of the box
No issues whatsoever. Was able to play 100%, collect all achievements and play through DLCs like a charm
Keeps crashing after a few minutes unable to finish first level

Game Loads Perfectly, Starts with Keyboard
The game installed and launched without any issues. Just a heads-up, you'll need a keyboard to type in your character's name at the beginning. I managed easily with a virtual keyboard, so it wasn't a big deal. Other than that, I've been having lots of fun so far!
2 Player worked as expected.
This game runs flawlessly on my computer (I use Arch btw). I have had no graphical or other errors and the window is smoother to tab in and out of than most of the games that I have played on linux. The game is very fun and it is nice to have a smooth experience that matches that of Windows.
Finished game without issues
Played over 4 hours and haven't experienced a problem
Game ran as expected, with the exception of slight FPS drops during cutscenes. I had my output on 1920x1080 @ 144Hz and ran at great frames.
Only experienced slight "laginess" during cutscenes.
Great game that works perfectly out of the box with Proton
Works perfectly fine out of the box.
Worked without any problems on Proton 6.3-4
Couldn't load the save game I previously had on Windows (like on other LEGO games), wasn't far there though so no problem
Running smooth, working perfectly with 2 ds4 controllers.
Worked out of the box. Couch played with wired xbox one and xbox 360 controllers for about 2 hours without noticing any significant issue.

Perfect run...

Opening cutscene had some jumpy transitions and the default controls are not easy to get the hang of, but perfectly playable.

Works perfectly. As other said change proton version to 3-16-8-beta, Your good to go. Great game to play with your kids. Entertaining and force to use your problem solving skill (5 year old level) to move forward.

The only tweaking required is changing which Proton version to use. Since the issues of audio were to due with OpenAL conversion.
The reason that Valve initially chose OpenAL is because Linux games use OpenAL. OpenAL is great, but does not fit well for mimicking XAudio. Think of it like this: If OpenAL is like Audio OpenGL, FAudio is more like Audio Vulkan.
Proton 3.16-5 and later ships with FAudio as its XAudio2/X3DAudio/XAPOFX/XACT3 implementation. It is introduced as a Linux-native library that is accessed by Wine, with the Wine XAudio source now acting as a very thin wrapper containing the absolute minimum code necessary to make FAudio work in Wine's environment.
Therefore, all you have to do is change Proton version to more of a upstream one.

After several tests, I discovered the problem with audio and cutscene crash in the last Lego games (Incredibles, Marvel Super Heroes 2 and DC Villains). This related to xaudio2_7, when present "Builtin", some sounds work, but there is a crash in cutscenes and the sound effects do not work. When disable, the game works normally but no sound.

Audio is messed up: sometimes you have music with no voice, sometimes voice with no environmental effects. But with subtitles is perfectly playable. I had to link my save games from the Windows partition.

Tried vanilla, PROTON_USE_WINED3D, and PROTON_NO_D3D11, all produce the same result gets through to New Game opening FMV audio plays, video frozen except rain, doesn't continue past FMV.
