I played this a lot completed the game now playing expansion pack. Works great no problem at all.. Oh You have to bypass Launcher for it to work.. Thats so easy steam gives you that option when launching
Works perfectly. As other said change proton version to 3-16-8-beta, Your good to go. Great game to play with your kids. Entertaining and force to use your problem solving skill (5 year old level) to move forward.
Works fine our of the box.. Old, still great game to multiplayer with 5 year old.
Audio has issue in cut scenes(no audio). Lags on xray or scene change . My xbox 360 wired seems to be not perfect for this game, Getting combo is extremely frustrating, Feels there is a lag in input for the controller. Keyboard works flawlessly .. Using flatpak version of steam. No complaints though glad i could play this game on arch..
This is the first proton game i played.. Frame rate is low, maybe my graphic card is not powerful enough!. Personally i don't think that is a factor as most other graphic intensive games run in much better frame-rate(native Linux games). I get frame-rate ranging from 30 - 60 fps not more than 60 even with low settings. Strange. I haven't done any tweaks just installed the huge game and started and played for 5 hours.. And XBOX 360 works nicely..
Upgraded my gpu from rx460 to rtx 2070, Game play is definitely better.But fame rates never above 60 dips to even 35 fps, With nvidia card having audio and video sync problem sometimes, which was not percent on amdgpu ..
