Framerate slower than expected given hardware, but CPU may be aging
gamemoderun %command%
Certain stations made FPS drop from 75 to 30 pretty consistently.

The official control scheme is a little difficult to work with at first, but with a few tweaks and some familiarisation it's perfectly workable. At times performance can drop below 20fps, but some settings can be changed to reduce this.
None
Runs well ou tof box, a bit, a bit of audio issues, not enought to break the game

VR mode is picky about the proton version used. GE 9-4 has decent performance and working AA
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
Flatscreen version worked fine without any tinkering. Mods work after DLLOverride, but VR Zoom kills performance while zooming.
gamemoderun %command%
Random, infrequent heavy stutters

Works out of the box in pc mode, no vr.
For me it works prefectly with latest proton 9 but, will not run in vr mode using wivrn and envision. Does not detect vr headset and switches to pc mode.

I've played DR both on a Meta Quest 2 and PC, as well as the Deck. the game does handle better with the Quest handles or wasd/mouse, because of how you want to grab hold of the locomotives' controls.

The game starts smoothly but soon becomes unplayable.
The game starts smoothly but gradually loses FPS over time. Turning on the cab light causes a significant drop to around 20 FPS.

Starts well but then FPS drops fast
Game starts okay, but after a few minutes, performance goes downhill fast. FPS drops below 20 when turning on cab lights.

Game launches, unable to play
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemoderun %command%
If I run with the mentioned launch options, the game works but the screen is very dark. If I run with no launch options, I am capped at 4 FPS.

The experiance is still fun I really enjoy the game the issues are minor and if you're patent with them it is very enjoyable
Modified one track pad to cycle through cameras
Mapped buttons the way I normally use them and used back buttons for lean and crouch
It's small have to zoom in to see but there is an in game controll for it
Poor anti aliasing as well
Issues with scroll happening too quickly for fine control adjustments or will flip too many pages. Currently set up to scroll using shoulder buttons on turbo but issue is present with quick taps

MAKE SURE YOUR FILE SYSTEM IS EXT4. IT WILL NOT WORK ON AN NTFS SYSTEM
Perfect ootb custom proton

Game runs fine, slight fps drop compared to windows
Game runs at worst ~10 fps slower than on windows
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Runs perfect out of the box
Installed gane, launched, works perfectly.

nvidia-exec %command%
Occational huge framerate drop down to about 2-5
The game crashes about twice per contract I manage to complete. I can restore from autosaves though.
In general, the performance is good, and when the game doesn't crash, it seems to be working almost flawlessly.

mangohud ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 %command%
Running at 1440p with settings set to ultra runs 40-60+ fps with some dips to 30+fps

Works fine, can crash on startup or after a few minutes but that luckly just rarely and without side effects
The game can crash when starting it or after a few minutes of playtime, but those crashes haven been kinda rare for me (2-3 per week at worse)

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemoderun %command%
Significant frame drops (frequently 20fps, sometimes 10fps or lower), even when on lowest setting possible.
I can run RDR2 on my computer - this Unity-made game shouldn't be a problem!
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
running non VR lots of frame rate drops, low memory warnings despite the same hardware running fine with default settings on windows
smoothest graphics settings: detail: normal vegitation: low anisotropic filtering: normal render (max) ssao unchecked shadow:medium shadow distance: 100 anti-aliasing: SMA v-sync off post :off realtime reflection: off
This is a VR report. Upon startup, the splash screen shows and then the unity crash screen appears.
Ive tried Proton 5.13-6 as well since it works for Unity VR games but that didnt work either. Ive also tried a bunch of other GE Proton versions but none that I tried, worked.
Ran very smoothly, only difference to windows is the startup time which is a few seconds longer
Haven't tested VR version since I have no VR gear.
I had to turn down the vegetation and shadows due to not meeting the minimum RAM requirement for the game, but it worked great after that.

Runs great out of the box
I recommend libstrangle for capping the FPS.
Enabled proton, hit start and had no problem whatsoever. Perfect proton experience !
In-game dialogue boxes refuse to register mouse clicks when playing on secondary monitor. Switching to primary monitor temporarily enables you to dismiss these boxes. This is probably down to my window manager (bspwm).

6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
GloriousEggroll fork of Proton used with Feral's gamemode
Mouse movement feels sluggish when framing. Otherwise OK.
The frame rates in this game change erratically. Sometimes I can get 60fps with minimal tearing, other times it runs at a solid 30fps. Restarting the game usually regains the 60fps. Before I used Feral's gamemode
I could only get 30fps, so I assume something to do with that has fixed it slightly.
Great game and runs perfectly out of the box with proton 5.13.

Some crackling with Proton 5.
The game doesn't support key rebinding. As the owner of an AZERTY keyboard, I had to switch the layout to QWERTY in the system settings.
No issues with proton 4.11 5.0 sound is crackling and distorted
GPU only capped at 65% utilization but FPS is 50+ playable but not using GPU to the max
