6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
GloriousEggroll fork of Proton used with Feral's gamemode
Mouse movement feels sluggish when framing. Otherwise OK.
The frame rates in this game change erratically. Sometimes I can get 60fps with minimal tearing, other times it runs at a solid 30fps. Restarting the game usually regains the 60fps. Before I used Feral's gamemode
I could only get 30fps, so I assume something to do with that has fixed it slightly.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemoderun %command%
Significant frame drops (frequently 20fps, sometimes 10fps or lower), even when on lowest setting possible.
I can run RDR2 on my computer - this Unity-made game shouldn't be a problem!
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" gamemoderun %command%
Haven't encountered the stutters that people are talking about yet - seems to work perfectly. Probably works without the launch options but I put them in to be on the safe side, and Feral Gamemode can never hurt. We'll see if it continues to work this well.
Experimental didn't work when I tried it.
Works perfectly
Contrary to other reports, you can run this with Proton 5.13, using the D3D flag. I found using anything below Proton 5 leads to network errors when it tries to connect to the Steam network.
Works almost perfectly. The crashes coupled with the infrequent saves make it a tad irritating, though.
Launch flags: WINEDLLOVERRIDES=dxgi=n,b PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command% -adapter 1 -vulkan -width 1920 -height 1080 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -cpuLoadRebalancing -ignorepipelinecache
Brief crackling that eventually disappeared
Crashed once because of out of memory, then another time due to some unspecified graphics error.
Proton-6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Proton GloriousEggroll Custom Build (6.21-GE-2)
Occasional light crackling of audio, largely unnoticable.
Works better than it did last year, when I experienced performance issues. Now with the latest Proton GE it runs just as I would expect it to natively.
There is one small issue - some textures on larger surfaces appear very blurred (wooden walls, posters, skin, and others). This seems to be fixed by selecting 'ultra' texture quality, but this may cause problems for users with lower-end graphics cards.

Works perfectly if you use experimental, which contains a fix for the update which introduced AMD FidelityFX or whatever (upscaling).

Tried various Proton versions - 6, 7, GE-7. None of these work (yet). Only experimental works, since it contains a patch added around a week ago to fix issues with the new feature upscaling graphics setting which was added. With experimental (and running with Feral Gamemode and various launch flags) everything works perfectly.

Very low framerate, essentially unplayable.
