Some issues with my wired controller, and putting the game in background mode (same with Windows). Said that nice experience.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
Cannot have Okami in background whilst doing something else (same with Windows btw)
Despite Steam recognizes my Horipad cannot use it with Okami
Ah Amaterasu. Origin of all that's good, and mother to us all.

Works great without tinkering
Haven't encountered any issues throughout the whole game.

From Steam Input, invert X and Y axis on the right joystick. The default right stick behaviour seems to be opposite to most twin-stick games.
That surprise VC++ redistributable installation dialog requires using the touchscreen, or perhaps plugging a mouse.
Fullscreen works, but it is difficult to get it to fit to the Steam Deck's screen.
In display settings, switch to full screen and change resolution to highest available. My advice: use Steam Input and invert both X and Y axis on the right joystick.

Alt+tab make the game get out of fullscreen and you can't go back, only way to fix it is to close the game and run again.
The game works perfectly well out of the box, i didn't had to do any modification and i was able to run the game normaly even with mods, but there is a weid bug that happens when you alt+tab to another window, the game comes out of fullscreen, stop recognizing your controller and the only way to fix it is to close the game and open again, i fix this issue using gamescope but that made a new problem appear, with gamescope the game freezes for some odd reason, then i fix the freezing adding "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1", after that i had no issues at all.

Alt-Tab-ing caused the fullscreen application to exit fullscreen and wouldnt easily allow itself to fullscreen again. Had to set a window rule in KDE Plasma's settings to force fullscreen. I'm sure theres methods to do something similar on other desktop environments.
After alt-tab-ing, controller wasnt initially detected. Fixed by alt tabbing, hovering over the application in the task bar, and then clicking the application window from that.
Had the same issues(?) on default recommended steam proton as GE. Overall a very good experience though and if you aren't alt-tab-ing a lot like I do then its never an issue.
The game runs slower in fullscreen (probably just a Wayland/Hyprland specific issue), but windowed mode + fullscreen with Hyprland works flawlessly

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I just had to use WINED3D because my laptop vulkan version is too old, but even without Vulkan, the game ran really well for me (well it's locked at 30FPS), but yeah
I played with controller and it seems to me with an 8Bitdo Xbox style controller that everything was working as it supposed too (played without Steam Input API, so Native)

Occasionally, camera goes out of control. Happens rarely on Proton Experimental, but often otherwise.
Have to run with the NO_ESYNC/NO_FSYNC options, otherwise game constantly freezes on cutscenes. Have to use Proton Experimental, otherwise camera often goes out of control, and game freezes on exit.

Works OOTB. 'Ur should be fine with playin a Game and havn´t to deal with the OS
[Steam Flatpak-Ver. - EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma 6 - Arch-Linux]

Changed left joystick to sensitive mode to fix celstial brush
Needed to change left joystick function

Works Great out of the box.
No tinkering or modification required.
Occasional crashes on scene transitions before I switched to Proton GE
It works as if it were a native version of Linux. Also, fantastic battery life: between 3 and 5 hours with default settings.
Improved drawing and fishing controls using the trackpad
upon first launch I had to change the resolution options as desired then everything worked fine
I could not get the touch screen input working in-game so focused on tweaking the controller layout.

Works perfect
Did some basic testing at the beginning and towards the end of the game. Runs perfect out of the box.
Runs smoothly, looks pretty and haven't encountered any issues.
Runs perfectly OOTB.
Game runs with zero issues OOTB.
Game launched at a very small resolution. Quickly changed it from windowed to fullscreen in the display options, 800p works just fine.
Runs just like on Windows
I installed the game and it just ran. I was able to load a new save and load an old save and everything worked great! No diffrent than the desktop version.
Only 16:9 and 4:3 supported
Game works perfectly, no issues.
Runs pretty well. No dealbreaker issues. Any problems I did have are most likely outliers.
Some slight crackling that may be the result of my low-end hardware.
Rumble does not work, but everything else is fine.
Froze once on me in Tsuta Ruins, but could not reproduce.
Played with an Xbox One controller connected over USB with preinstalled drivers.
No Issues.
PS4 Controller not detected on Manjaro
Work's perfectly out the box with Proton Experimental
Highly suggest to install and use VKBASALT with this game to make it even more good looking.
Works 100%
No extra steps required
Works perfectly out of the box.
You can play this game without major problems
Sometimes toggle fullscreen option not working correctly
Couldn't alt-tab but otherwise had zero issues. I think I saw one tree with a graphical in 25+ hours of gameplay. Was able to play to completion.
