No PVP allowed. Forced to play in Offline Mode becuause of the anticheat, but it triggers automatically when you hit the main menu.
Some text and UI icons are not super easy to read / make out at 1200x800, but nothing illegible.
EAC blocking game from launching at all.
As of April 1st Playtest: "Failed to create IGameClient instance!" error and black screen.
flawless, just works
Exact same experience / performance as windows users in lobby
Native build didn't work at all, regardless of launch option, but Proton 7.0.6 worked fine.
Runs fine, saves are fickle / controller issues, possibly just a buggy game (regardless of Proton)
Able to pause, but controller unresponsive in the paused menu itself
saves seem frequently corrupted, but hard to tell if this is unique to Linux or not. Current patch (7) is very buggy according to Steam reviews.

Need to use the Steam Input template, controller not detected otherwise.
Need to switch to the "steamdeck" Beta branch, game can't install otherwise
Only launched for me on Experimental, but otherwise a flawless experience.
Native build wouldn't recognize wired xbox series x ccontroller, switching to Experimental fixed it
disabled Steam Input for accurate controller button mapping
disabled Steam Input for accurate Xbox Series S / X controller button mapping
PROTON_BATTLEYE_RUNTIME="/home/<username>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton BattlEye Runtime/"
must install Proton BattlEye Runtime
Tutorial initially functions without any fiddling, but would crash upon completion.
Runs exactly the same on recommended Proton, is just use GE because I can.
