The first time launch graphical options are not optimized for the deck, wrong resolution and bad settings in general. Here are all my graphics settings, including the advanced ones. Technically, it's the highest quality settings with disabled AA, since I generally don't like AA in my games.

The game runs butter smooth, the controls are amazing and it's a blast to play on deck.

Works well without any tinkering. Good performance with default settings. Comprehensive in-game control remapping options.
I have experienced crashing / freezing once or twice.
Works great. Looks great!
This seemed to work flawlessly, no issues with graphics, sound or controls. Settings to max, absolute cracker on the Deck.
Works out of the box. Runs great on the steam deck!
No issues found, butter smooth performance
Native version runs great.
Cloud save didn't sync with my other PC. I don't think this is a problem specific to linux
No Problems. All High and enjoyable

Plays like on Windows.
Good game, the foolow up to Decent but with real 3D.

(GOG version) Works well
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
This worked completely out of the box on the Valve Index (the native version doesn't have support for VR).
There seem to be some odd light flickering at certain angles that I don't remember seeing in the native version, but it can likely be fixed by changing some graphical settings (might be related to bloom).
VR works running the Windows version through Proton.
The native Linux version does not support VR. The Windows version through Proton works great with my Vive.
