Inicia y funciona perfecto: Completado al 100%, 1080p, graficos(alta), control(xbox series).

Played through the whole game and did some of the dlc. didn't feel any difference from when i played it on windows a few years ago.
Everything worked
It truly is Dark Souls 2, even on Linux.

All of the issues I've experienced are reported to occur when playing on Windows as well.
I am playing with KB+M.
I do not recommend the default keybinds. I changed them to reflect those of the Dark Souls (1) Remaster as closely as possible. Though I will mention that whether you use a KB+M or a controller, the context buttons on screen will always show controller prompts.
It is absolutely required that when using KB+M, you go into your keybindings and change Disable double clicking to On. Otherwise you will suffer some severe input lag with the mouse. You may have to toggle this back to Off and On again each time you launch the game.
I have tried using a controller. However, the deadzones on the analogues were completely scuffed, leading it to act more like a d-pad than an actual analogue. The controller also seems to suffer from double button presses quite frequently. So, "scrolling" through your equiped items is a pain. Not to mention that the controller itself also suffers with input lag.
I originally attempted to play this using GE-Proton9-15. Unfortunately the opening cutscene had no audio whatsoever. This is reported to occur on Windows as well. After I switched to Proton Experimental, this issue was resolved.

gamescope --fullscreen --steam -W 2560 -H 1440 -- gamemoderun %command%
fixed with gamescope
freezes
Some parts of the game run completely fine, but others (not sure if area specific) have very frequent freezes. For ~80% of them, they unfroze within 2-10 seconds, but others froze indefinitely and required force quitting the game. This happened at one point during a loading screen, which seems like it could cause unavoidable corruption of save files. Logging in to multiplayer seems to work about half the time, where the fix I found was loading a save file and quitting to the main menu to flip the coin again. Initially, fullscreen didn't work, but launching with gamescope had fullscreen working as normal.

Runs as if native.
I haven't tried the online part of the game, though. I'm personally not interested in it, but it did connect without problems. I just didn't try playing an online session.

Sometimes takes a few tries to get it to connect to the online features.
Ran fine, only minor issues with connecting to the online servies.

The Dark Souls 2 is great experience on Steam Deck, just need the resolution fix on first start
On first start I experienced black screen instead of game. This needs to be fixed by following:
- switch to desktop mode
- start the game
- in settings set resolution to 1280x800
- quit the game
- return to gamemode

Work ootb.
Needed proton-ge just for the video playback when you start a new game. Works with DS2LightningEngine mod and others.

The screen tearing and windowed mode hurts immersion but otherwise its very playable and enjoyable
Set App.Window.X = -10 and App.Window.Y = -33
Constant screen tearing at the bottom of the screen

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dxgi,nvngx_dlss=n,b;" %command%
Did not try co-op and I haven't been invaded yet, but illusions and bloodstains show up just fine.
Not much to say. Lighting Engine works as expected, DLAA included, by using the WINE DLL overrides required. If you don't have an NVIDIA GPU, "nvngx_dlss" may not be needed. There's a framerate unlocker mod which I have not tried as it doesn't let you play online with it.

Works great
The game run flawlessly without need to tinkering, and might be slight good performance when you compare it with Windows.

Tried Proton-GE as well, with no results.

If i change workspaces, game says there are framerate issues, therefore game goes offline. I had to restart the game everytime this issue occured to be able to play online
Given my hardware it plays 60 fps on 720p medium settings with occasional drops to 40 fps

Roda sem problemas
So lembre de fazer backup do seu save antes de formatar ou algo do tipo.

For the intro cutscene the subtitles and audio were out of sync, but the rest was smooth sailing

Works flawlessly out of the box, no tinkering needed. CryoUtilities + dropping the TDP limit down to 7W allows for 2.5-3h battery life.
Installed CryoUtilities with recommended settings
Roll/Sprint on R4, to be able to run while being able to look around with the right stick.
Setting the TDP Limit to 7W, allows you to get 2.5-3h of battery life (LCD Steam Deck).
No cloud saves, so you'll have to back up the saves manually to play on other devices.
If you're planning to play online and you're up to install mods, install Blue Acolyte from the Nexus Mods page!! It prevents cheaters and hackers from dropping illegal items into your inventory and bricking your save file.
Runs out of the box.

Controllers are borked, but at least keyboard and mouse work?
slight crackling in open areas but it's not too noticeable
Bizzare issues included the axis turning infinitely and the X button being confirm with the A button being cancel and B being use item. I am not sure what's going on but the game doesn't like Xbox controllers or Playstation 4 Controllers.
With a controller plugged in it would do the spining axis infinitely at an intense speed to a point where it would cause a performance issue and cause the game to crash.
Other than the controller issues I'd say it deserves the platinum rating, however controllers don't work at all which can be a glaring issue.

My monitor is 144hz. While the game was running at 60 fps (the game is locked to 60), it did not feel smooth. Changing my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz fixed it.
Work out of the box

It works like a charm!!
Crackling when another audio stream is present.

Connection is iffy, sometimes you are able to play online sometimes you are stuck in offline. Usually a restart can you enable online play. So far if I launched online I have not been disconnected while playing
Works as intended

Works OOTB without any issues
works great out of the box

Out of the box install and play
Installs and plays exactly as expected. No issues. The game does not have an off-line option. Since I wanted to play off-line, I found that installing a mod caused the software to go offline when the game starts.

Plays really well out of the box, just keep in mind if you play the game on the deck and PC that you need to transfer saves a other way
Game graphics settings defaults on high so i changed it down to medium for a bit of battery saving, it runs about 10-12 watts
Steam Cloud is not enabled for this game

Perfect OOB Experience
Game works perfectly, no tweaks required.
Game needs to be run the first time with proton 7.06 otherwise it will not run at all as I think DXSETUP hangs and doesn't install. Verify files and uninstall will not work, you have to delete the directory manually.

It works just like any PC running this game.
No 16:10, engine is locked to 60fps, will run at 720p 60fps Max Settings. Docked it will run at 50-60FPS 1440p Max Settings.

Tabbing out and backing stopped the mouse from controlling the camera. Fixed with gamescope.

I used flawless ultrawide with proton preloader in order to allow for UW support.
Steam input is required.
I played through the entire game with a group of 4 and didnt encounter any issues.
Some of my friends have reported that disabling anti aliasing helps with some of the input issues that the game has, if youre playing with the keyboard and mouse, make sure to disable double click.

gamescope --steam --fullscreen -W 1920 -H 1080 -- gamemoderun %command%
Mouse camera control stops working once the game loses focus for the first time
The mouse focus issue can be worked around by running the game in gamescope
