Petroglyph dump solution: I struggled to get past the petroglyph dump error. I reinstalled the game from scratch. The first setup process must have been corrupted/skipped. After it ran successfully the error stopped.

Game needs to be run the first time with proton 7.06 otherwise it will not run at all as I think DXSETUP hangs and doesn't install. Verify files and uninstall will not work, you have to delete the directory manually.
