Sometimes alt-tabbing gives a temporary black screen that fixes alt-tabbing again.

Works great with no tinkering
Aside from some flickering window transitions between the in-game browser and menus every now and then, everything runs smoothly with the default Proton.

Outside of the opening movie making it look like the game isn't working, after that one time issue the game appears to run flawlessly.
Aforementioned opening movie issue. When the opening movie plays again, it displays fine.
Opening movie (before you launch the game) is extremely laggy, skips, and stops. It continues to run, and will allow you into the main game however.
Freezes right after the intro cinematic with proton GE and proton experimental
Al abrir el juego al verse la pestaña de actualizaciones o de login se pone el fondo en negro y la pestaña parpadea muy rápidamente. una vez entrado al juego no ha notado problemas

Launcher requires mouse input or touch, but no issues beyond that
Some of the launcher text was a bit small, but in game is okay

Works out of the box. The events and news pop up at login screen its bugged but you can close it and go on.

The only issue i experienced was my screen flickering in the main menu for a few seconds and then it stopped but i didn't saw any other issues it's playable with no issues after that for me

Runs flawlessly ootb
The main menu is a tad weird at first if you're on controller and not used to the cursor input that you can toggle, but otherwise this has been running perfectly for about 7 or so straight hours now.

Set TDP Limit to 10 Watts
Launcher requires touchscreen or mouse input to navigate, but has one simple "Start Game" button.
Some screens (e.g. account login and notices) require touchscreen or mouse input.
When entering a name for the protagonist, the on-screen keyboard must be manually invoked.
Switch to Standard graphics preset for 60 FPS gameplay. Default preset is Semi-High, and causes FPS to fluctuate around 30-40 range.

With a two monitor setup, the pop-ups weirdly display on the other screen
Worked OOTB, no thinkering required

only the main menu is a bit glitched when you open the game

Minor issues with video playback on title screen

Surprisingly pleasing plug-and-play experience compared to other Gacha games.
I simply installed it from Steam and it's running wonderfully well in my RTX 2060 at max graphical settings, solid 60 FPS and no stutters whatsoever.

No need for extra tinkering.

On the login and notices screens sometimes mouse input is not working. This can be fixed by alt-tabbing to another app and then back in. Also controller cannot be used to log in.
Login and events screen do not always show properly. Sometimes I get a black screen, sometimes nothing. This gets fixed by alt-tabbing to another app and then back in.

Boots, but menu does not respond to mouse clicks.
No controller support or visual errors, but game is unplayable past the title screen.

Works out of the box, however the game uses an external launcher. Some main menu buttons require the touchscreen
Graphics were set to medium and GPU clock reduced to 800

At the login screen theres a texture bug with the background and it flickes for a bit
Sometimes it doesnt let me move with the pad and Ive gotten like a 'stick drift' in some circumstances Its 100% the game because it only happens in p5x, but overall nothing to worry about. Completely playable.
this game is fire

When booting up the game, it'll say logged in as [username] while flashing quickly. You have to use the touch screen in the black space around that in order to get that to go away so it'll tab back into the title screen so you can start the game.
Only major things to note are having to use the touch screen briefly while booting up the game every time in order to get back to the title screen and away from the logging in notifications. When first booting, it brings you to a separate page within the game client and asks to install pre-requisites software, upon doing so it crashed the entire deck and had it restart. After rebooting up the game it brought me straight into the actual title screen and haven't had any crashes since then.

You have basically 3 options to create/link an account. Steam, google and an guest account. I used for the fist time steam and played for 4+ hours everything was fine. then on the 2nd start of thee game in loging screen was a popup like sign through steam, but i got the intro/tutorial movie and an NEW GAME ID. In loging screen my original steam 1 account got moved to guest account and i can´t link it with steam, since it is a new account (steam 2). I linked the guest account with google for now and request to delete steam 2 in game but they won´t let me link with steam (1) sice steam (2) exists for now.
to prevent this mess pleace make a guest account when you start the game for the first time, launch it 2-3 times and then link it with steam, but that´s only a guess from me how to work arround with thiss mess

If you dont skip the animated intro at the start of the game, you get locked in the main menu with no input.
Game is playable, but if you dont skip the animated intro when the game launches, you will get locked in the main menu without input from your keyboard and mouse, or controller. If you skip the intro, the game runs normally, and you are able to log in and play it. (The animation plays again with no issues when you start the story, so you are not missing anything).

Runs out of the box, additional software installs in-game without a hitch, and graphical settings will be auto-adjusted for you.
45 FPS lock on OLED model, because the game runs either in 30, 60, or 120, and you don't need 60 on Steam Deck in a turn-based game.
There are no problems per se, but the sign-in, log-out window, and in-game news notifications require touching a screen for mouse emulation.
If you don't lock your controller scheme to a mouse and keyboard, when editing text in your in-game profile with Steam Keyboard, it will register Y as a spacebar and back simultaneously.
Requires an internet connection for many in-game functions, as it is a gacha game. Just like any Persona title, it plays very well on a handheld.
Surprisingly, it works just out of the box. I wasn't expecting this for a gacha game like P5X and it's possible it will change in the future

When booting into the title screen, the game flashes a black screen for a fews second
The Game runs great without using a custom version of proton. though I would recommend using ProtonGE for a more smoother experience. (Note: I found that the game runs better in borderless mode.)

I had to change the game from fullscreen to borderless because my system was flickering black screen on game and when clicking on it was very buggy, not sure if it's something due to the wayland, but when I changed to borderless it runs pretty fine. Playable!
Basically, this game is much playable, if you change to the borderless mode, which it's pretty simple to do.

Cap fps to 45
The text in anime cutscenes is kinda difficult to read
The game worked well out of the box. There's only one issue with FPS drops in crowded areas — other than that, the game ran very well.

Runs great
Was concerned that the kernel anti-cheat would prevent Linux users from being able to enjoy this game but it runs absolutely great. No issues to report on.
mangohud gamemoderun ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 DXVK_HDR=1 %command%

When some screens appear (like the login screen) if you are in fullscreen, the game will freeze and they will not show up. To fix this, start the game in windowed mode, or exit fullscreen at the opening cutscene with ALT+ENTER.

Input did not work right away, had to press meta key and go back into the game.
The game browser UI may sometimes not work and show as a black screen but pressing the meta key (or tabbing out) and going back in solves the issue.
Ran perfect for me, instantly with no tinkering (Other than ProtonGE being my default proton so i cant repor for non GE versions) required.
lickers in the main menu at the beginning besides from that it works
lickers and the main screen but it works out there that
Toggles between fullscreen and windowed mode in the webview for a few seconds.

The only issue i experienced was my screen flickering in the main menu for a few seconds and then it stopped but i didn't saw any other issues it's playable with no issues after that for me
