Runs straight out of the box on the latest issue of Proton-GE

GDK_BACKEND=x11 %command%
Without explicitly setting GDK_BACKEND=x11
in the launch options, the game will crash when it attempts to open a file selector, such as when choosing a file for a custom asset.

Works perfectly without any configuration.

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
Had to restrt the game after installing workshop content. Otherwise stuck in main menu
Highly recommend using launch params to cap framerate. For me, unplayable native since gpu usage was at 100 with 30 fps on medium. With Proton, no problems whatsoever with higher fps.

Switching between fullscreen and windowed broke the windows
Game would crash when updating larges scripts, unlike on windows.
Had to use proton, native version had rendering issues and stability issues.

The game crashes when you Browse to import files
- The workaround is to manually provide the full path, prefixed with
file://
.
For example:
file:///home/UserName/Documents/file.png

Crashes when opening upload menu
Unable to upload custom assets without Proton. With proton, unable to get beyond main menu screen.
Certain filehosts do not work through Native support. Tinkering with proton is required.
Unable to upload custom assets without Proton. With proton, unable to get beyond main menu screen. I'm an edge case, as I use TTS as a VTT, instead of just playing board games from the workshop.

Relaunch after downloading workshop items (on fresh install)
Not sure if the relaunch is needed when downloading workshop items after first launch.
Had to relaunch the game after first launch for the game to actually work correctly.
-force-opengl -force-gfx-st
Had to restart the game due to it being unable to find the Steam Servers after downloading Workshop content. After that no further issue.

Native Black Screen - Doesn't work it seems.
At least for me, switching to various proton versions made no difference and would result in crash messages or closing on start.

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
VSync and Lock Framerate options do the same exact thing in the game settings and don't actually work. As there is no option to set FPS to a desired limit, it will always sync with your monitor refresh rate, which may not be desirable for everyone.
Cannot create a session from the main menu
Linux version doesn't start up

I use Proton Experimental as the default selection for my entire library. TableTop Simulator runs without issue, immediately after installation. No tinkering required.

Runs very well, even hyprland window movements work smoothly.
Invites through steam chat work perfectly.
No issues, even in I3 moving the game around and resizing the window it's very fast

Except from the memory leak lag after a few hours, but thats the same in Windows, its a known TTS coding fault
Will only work with Proton Experimental. In native settings, some buttons dont work and I cant start any games either local or multiplayer.

Native runs perfectly had no issues
The buttons to start a new game didn't work. To fix this, simply restart Steam.

Multiplayer works fine with steam invites

gamemoderun %command%
Multiplayer ran great on Proton.
Worked out of the box

GDK_SYNCHRONIZE=1 %command%
Crashes on Native. Multiplayer didn't work without tweaks.

Added F key
Changing UI scale seems to totally break the games graphics. Reinstall does not fix this, nor does removing of configs weirdly. It must sync with your save file in the cloud I guess?. Resetting is qutie challenging and requires knowledge of where things are, it will display stuff very feintly, if you amnage to press reset to default in the interface settings it fixes it.
You should not face any issues, UNLESS you mess with interface UI scale it seems.

Multiplayer works flawlessly with steam linux runtime, but doesnt find any servers with pure native. It gives the error "Maybe steam servers are down"
-firce-opengl -force-gfx-st

File picker crashes game
Clicking any of the "Browse local files" buttons will crash the game.
Inputting the path directly (e.g. file:///home/user/file.jpg) works fine.
Plays like native, pretty much
Game worked amazingly well on linux

Multiplayer did not work with native linux install, worked immediately with Steam-Play-None compat layer.

touchscreen and stylus input are merged together.
Multiplay worked perfectly.

Works great!
I had fewer issues than my Windows using compatriots who experienced file system issues.

/opt/wine-discord-ipc-bridge/winediscordipcbridge-steam.sh gamemoderun %command%
See below.
System would get overloaded when playing the native version.
My previous system could run this game natively just fine, though Proton works well too. I use https://github.com/0e4ef622/wine-discord-ipc-bridge to get rich presence on Discord.

Tried switching to previous versions of Proton but I cannot get past the menu as it just doesn't work properly.
