Starts good (singleplay)
Played with Proton 9.0-4.
If you are trying to play the game on gamescope.You need to add the command line argument for this game to work or it will refuse to start.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Running through the Heroic Launcher. I could only get this to work using Proton version 4.2-9. Runs absolutely fine with no other changes.

It only stays in the main menu, takes a long time to load and crashes, when it opens, it only appears on a black screen
The game does not open to play

PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%
Taskbar was on top, had to ALT-TAB a few times to sort it, but subsequent launches are fine
After finishing a level game randombly gives a black screen
The game sometimes crashed when waking the Deck from sleep mode.
Played through the hole main story with no other problems than the ones being mentioned above.
After choosing the right proton version, the game worked fine. Achievement gets unlocked too, thought I haven't completed the game 100% as of now so I can't assure that they all unlock properly
After waking from sleep
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% it crashes, complaining my graphics card wouldn't be able to support "Shader Model 3"
Found no issues
perfect native like experience
Works good
Game has no window mode. Alt-Tab works normal.
Played with Proton 6.3-8

Steam Input has to be configured in order to change the controller mapping.
After 15 hours of gameplay, the game crashed twice. It's most probably caused by controller disconnecting / connecting.
Plays very well. No Issues.
Have tested this on multiple occasions and across multiple installs. Never had any trouble. Has always run perfectly.

Played with Proton 5.0-9 and command params PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Works great out of the box
I'd previously tried to run the game from my Windows files, with no luck. After swapping to a ext4 formatted partition it's working great now
Process starts, but the game does not open
Remap controls, you'll be fine
Controls start absolutely borked, but can be remapped
Process starts, nothing happens
Works properly
No issues.
Occasional cut scene glitches (dropped frames), but otherwise perfect.
Some cutscenes kept crashing, had to use Windows to skip them, might be because of my GPU, which about a year on the market.

Everything works fine with Proton 4.2-9 (yes there are some slight freezes in cut scenes but otherwise it's alright. I tried it again recently with the latest version (4.11-2 as of writing), and multiplayer with two Steam Controllers DOES NOT WORK. It wouldn't detect the second steam controller. With 4.2-9 it worked straight away, but the update has messed stuff up. Not an issue though. Just set it to run with 4.2-9 and you're good to go. Of course, if you're playing single player then it shouldn't be necessary, but who knows?

Working perfectly out of the box.
