Minor tweaks needed on first run, but otherwise there was nothing that would break the experience
There was some minor flickering and textures missing for a single frame as geometry came into view.
The game had very low performance when it defaulted to windowed mode on first run. Switching to full screen fixed it.
Working out of the box

Works perfectly OOTB
Fux experience, kinda wish they added a volume slider in game and there were some real frame drops at the end. Other than that it's a fun "exploration" game. Putting it in quotes because there's a lot of unnecessarily hard parts like lights out.

Set TDP to 12 Watts.
Have to accept an agreement when first launching the game, but after that there are no problems with secondary windows.
Played the entirety of the first chapter and some of the second chapter, ran at a stable 60fps on a Steam Deck OLED. Make sure you set the aspect ratio to 16:10 in the graphics menu, and then set the resolution to 1280x800.

Windowing: Full Screen
Game only works on full screen with the window resolution being the same as the monitor resolution, otherwise the game lags. Using the i3 window manager, I cannot move the window between different workspaces without the game crashing. Besides that, it runs flawlessly.

Just go to settings and disable fullscreen and maximize the screen. Not the best, but sure works.
The game needs dotnet40 to run. Using protontricks doesn't work, as it fails to install. So what I did, was I created a custom 32 bit prefix using Lutris and installed a windows version of steam on it. The I installed the game there and when I clicked play, it installed everything it needed, just like regular steam on windows. 64 bit prefix didn't work for some reason.
The game slowed the entire system when leaving the fullscreen
Major screen tearing when V-Sync is disabled
Starts well
Played with Proton 7.0-5
works flawlessly
Works great on latest Proton
Works OOTB

Crashes on alt tab
Runs perfectly, no tweaking needed. Tested D9VK but, wasn't able to detect any difference in performance. Already running at stable 60fps.
The crackling appeared throughout my play-through. Although I was able to ignore it most of the time. I told myself it was part of the creepy atmosphere
Works great out of the box.
I've also tried with D9VK and it works even better.

Crashes when changing some graphics settings, but relaunching remembers changes so not a big deal. Fails to launch if steam is run in firejail.

Needed to run this to play: "env WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32 winetricks dotnet40" Also, trying to Alt-Tab from a full screen game causes the screen to go black, and you have to close the game by Alt-F4. Exiting normally works fine

Open up a terminal and run the following command: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/265690/pfx winetricks dotnet40 Let it install and the game runs just fine. It's a little slow at times, but still very playable.

Doesn't launch. Fails silently.
