When reinstalling the game the save games have to be copied manually, but it is just one file in an easy to reach folder.

Works as if it's on native.

Constant interface annoyances ruin what would otherwise be a perfect Deck game. No cloud support also hurts it as a pick-up-wherever title
Controller prompts display and disappear seemingly at random, and a cursor lingered on-screen during gameplay. Touch screen is also necessary to navigate menus
No Steam Cloud support

Save data is deleted when the game is uninstalled. No Steam Cloud support.
Used Community Controller Layout
No Cloud Saves, so you can't sync game progress with Desktop easily
The game runs great, with 5+ hour estimated run time on battery without any custom settings. I highly recommend the Touchpad Community Layout for the controls though, as it makes the game much more comfortable to play for long sessions with just needing to tap the touchpads to fight.
Also, you'll need to use the Touchscreen (or Mouse) to get through the menu at startup due to half-baked controller support.
The game runs well on the Deck but you will need to use the touchscreen to get past the initial screen with the fullscreen/bigger/smaller/play buttons.
It felt more comfortable for me to use left button for Right D-Pad and use right button for "X" or "B". Honestly, just comes down to preference since this game literally only uses 2 buttons except for in the Main Menu.
Controls might feel more comfortable for long sessions if you change the left attack and right attack to D-Pad and Button Pad respectively. Personal preference honestly. Also, there's no need to adjust graphics settings at all since this game is extremely light weight.
Runs perfect out the box.
Works perfectly with proton 6.3-6.
To put the game in full screen, need to click on full screen, then windowed and again full screen. The only very minor issue for me.
Worked OOTB
Works out of the box
Works perfectly with proton 5.0
Flickering when not in fullscreen
Flickering in windowed mode
Crashes when loading with proton 5.13
It works out of the box with proton 5.0, but the game crashes when loading the savefile with proton 5.13. I don't know if it's on my end but something has changed since it still works for me with proton 5.0.
Game started up, game didn't show cursor so I couldn't click "play"
it says it running, but doesnt show anything at all
Constant Flickering on Windowed mode, need to play in Fullscreen. Achievements don't show up.
Perfect out-of-the-box experience. Just install and play
Beat the game on Student difficulty making sure I do every single stage available on the map. I sort of expected an issue where click latency would be a problem but surprisingly I found nothing of the sort. The game practically acts as if it's native.
It runs like a on Windows, smooth with 60FPS even on my laptop with Intel Graphics.
It runs like on windows, smooth with 60 FPS even on my Laptop with Intel Graphics
Works out of the box
Works basically perfectly
It actually works better than windows on my laptop because I used to experience increased input lag in fullscreen.

Everything seems to work fine at 60fps

For tiling window manager users (i3 et al): Turn the window to floating mode (default keybinding is $mod+Shift+space) to stop the constant resizing. The game only runs at a fixed resolution.

Game runs fine.

Launches, but the resolution keeps changing, so I can't choose anything. Tested on 4.11-3 and 4.2-9.

No issues whatsoever.

Works perfectly now (previously didn't run)

Works perfectly

The game runs fine but I think the audio is not 100% right (this could just be my equipment)

Works perfectly

Runs perfectly

Game seems to work and launch properly, but I'm unable to click on either Fullscreen or Play on my i3 tiling window manager due to continuous resolution changes in the game engine.
