Other than the initial startup issues, the game looks and works fine
Some small text
Runs flawlessly on non-gaming laptop. Had some issues before and switched to Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout), but now it works just fine.

Force proton, the native version is broken.
Native version has missing UI elements, missing resolution options, and has missing audio. I was not able to start a new game due to missing UI elements. Force proton and the game works flawlessly.

Rebinded almost everything to map all hotkeys to the layout
Reading dialogues may be difficult
Entering in-game debug menu may cause inability to enter pause menu through hotkeys (mouse only supported). Restarting the game fixes this issue
Works fine out the box.

No issues at all. I finished game using trackpads
Runs nativily and the cloud saves work as expected, unlike Windows 11 :)
Work fine. I translated patched my language.
Could not get to work in native Linux mode, nor Proton Experimental. Game loads and then hangs in memory.

Thumbstick mouse usage is exhausing, but totally functional and super fun. Touchpads are way easier!

I have accessibility issues with my right hand.
Proton 7 fixed it
Played and beat the game with no issues. This was my first full game experience with the Steam Deck. I am using the same settings for Shadowrun Dragonfall Director's Cut.

Proton 7
Specific changes to suit my condition

No audio
During combat movement drops to nearly 0 fps
Minor inconvinience: I have to restart the game after I launch it in order to fully sync audio.
Runs perfectly fine besides some minor audio issues.
The game defaults to its native Linux version, which has no sound at all. Forcing the use of the Windows version with Proton 7.0-1 works around the issue.
Apart from that the game works as expected. It does not feature controller support but robust community-provided templates are available.
No sound at all.
The game defaults to native Linux, which does launch but features no sound at all. The game has no controller support so keyboard & mouse emulation is mandatory.

(GOG version) Works good
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
Works WAY better with Proton
Native version works but performance is terrible also with audio issues. Through Proton is just install, play and be happy!

Game runs as perfectly as native.
I got the game on Epic Store and ran it through Proton. Worked flawlessly.
Stated to have Native Linux, but it wouldn't run that way for me. I had to use Proton.

Game works native and on Proton out of the box. I installed manually D9VK and it worked as well fine with this DX9 to Vulkan translation.
