Unstable framerate but it's a visual novel that doesn't matter lmao.
Without tinkering only the opening didn't work as far as I could tell so not a big deal.

Even following the Steam community guide on fixing videos, did not see type moon opening logo. So far no issues though so I have no idea.

This game works great as long as you follow the Steam discussion guide utilizing protontricks and the launch options.
Workd fine

The in-game videos do not play, but I do not consider that to significantly hamper the gameplay experience.

There are graphical bugs within the game engine that make it unplayble using stable Proton (8.0-4).
Currently, at the time of this writing, this game is unplayable without using Proton Experimental.
Also, in-game videos will be skipped because they are encoded in a format incompatible with Proton.

It worked out of the box on my setup and no need to change proton versions, although it didn't work in another pc I tried.
Intro video doesn't play.

If you get past the white screen and play deeper into the game, eventually it will Crash when videos are played or otherwise because of compatability issues.

Game crashes both upon encountering the title video a few minutes into the game, and then also later if you manage to get past this point.
Different proton versions seem to work at different points in the game but ultimately it will crash regardless.

Opening doesn't play. Fades to a black screen then jumps to the next scene. Otherwise it works just fine

still crashes sometimes after 2hour played

crashes somethime

black screen, crashes at precise dialog point (after meeting the boy, right after the clock ticking video), regardless of proton version
not playable :(

This Visual Novel is the first to ever make the fans spin on my [OLED]Steam Deck.. Keep in mind the OLED Model has a thicker & more efective fan and it makes the fans spin. Not sure if it's bad proton support or the game is just problematic for it's launch.
FPS never hit 90 according to the Perf Overlay.
I cannot recall 100% but while I was testing keybindings so I could make the Layout I'm using now, I often ended up crashing the game by actually using some of those keys.
For example, F6 is Next Scene & if I used it, sometimes it may crash the entire VN.
I made a combination of keys in Steam Input that guarenteed a crash evertyime it was used also.
Somehow the game worked using GE-25 but that was after I launched with 6.3-8, not sure if it's the shaders or what, but now GE-25 works for me, your results may vary.
I experiences alot of crashes on 6.3-8, when using specific keys, but it wasn'y consistent. 6.3-8 is an old version of Proton.. So I won't blame the game, it's like just down to Proton Compatability. Valve will support this game better soon enough, but for now, it's playable.
Not a worse experience or anything.

On newer version of proton including GE, game will crash before title screen.
Mushroom man plz give us rin and hisui-chan next

The game uses controller glyph even though I had none connected
The videos aren't playing

Don't use the experimental version. Use older version first, such as 6.3-8, then I switch to 7.0-6. It works.

The game worked perfectly with Proton 7.0-6, no issues I could detect or find. It did not work for me on Experimental, GE, or 8.0-4, crashing after loading title screen.

should put on fullscreen from main menu to avoid img shaking
did an hasty chapter 1 for testing no crash, no intro video, fullscreen from main menu seems to prevent shaking

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Game will not get past initial screen with default Proton or Proton-GE, only works with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
The game crashed after the title fades

Video don't work
Opening don't work and with GE-Proton or Experimental crashes in the first loading
