Using Atelier Fix + Proton 7 reduces crashes considerably (though not 100%)
Atelier fix + Proton 7 is mandatory, otherwise the game is unplayable due to very frequent crashing. Fast traveling to the Atelier first before going anywhere else helps reduce crashing as well.

Phenominal experience with the -dx11 flag and the above configuration. Solid, smooth experience. Never dipped below 60fps as far as I could tell.
