It's working, only for campaign mode, else it will imediately crash this also include the DLC as well. I believe this problem is on developer end, not proton

Very small black artifacts on grass.
The game freezes at the start on the sixth misson if you try to set skills for Valentina. I tried other protons version (experimental and older) as well as the Windows 7 mode offered by the game. What solved the problem for me was to just ignore it, play the mission some minutes more and then set her skills.
Crashes on videos, such as upgrade icons that show a video, would crash when i selected one, and then selected it again.
Fixed by installing older version of proton 4.*, did this because it seemed to work without issue for people on that version, and found that to be true.

The only serious issue I noticed is that the extra missions (from the main menu) do not start, the game freezes afetr clicking the button in some hint. Not sure if Linux-specific, I did not see such reports anywhere.
Also sometimes it crashes when opening new skills.
Another small issue is that the credits at the end of the game are not displayed (black screen). Other cutscenes/videos worked fine.

The game works well with Proton Experimental
It was laggy from the menu, but nothing too bad. I think it could be something from the game, as some games add acceleration. But I could not find an option to disable it on the menu.

Start video with company logos is only displayed as test video, press akey to skip. Haven't found any other cut scenes so far in the game.
I have a very good optimus laptop with RTX 2060, and worked with 60-70fps.
Worked only in Proton 5.0-1, 4.11-13, 4.2.9. In others versions didn't launched.

Works out-of-the-box but occasionnally freezes. Don't try Hard difficulty and save often !
The game freezes occasionnally, up to 1-3 times per hour (especially on big maps with many people). This can be highly problematic for Hard difficulty where in-mission saving is disabled.
To rebind keys, you first need to select the "Custom" key set. Also, not all keys can be rebound (ex : R to reload, V to switch weapons). This can be problematic for non-qwerty keyboard layouts.
The game runs smooth and without problems.
The only strange thing my GFX blowers are going mad on this game. I would expect that on a FPS shooter or so :-)
Game works out of the box. Nothing important to report.
I was expecting more performances from this game, but I do get a stable 60 FPS at High settings. The websites links inside the menu page seems to work randomly too.
Also, for people playing the game in Russian : if someone speaks German, you will often hear the Russian translation at the same time, and it can get confusing sometimes. Not a sound glitch, it's just the way they do it in Russia.

Run well despite intro and hint videos not being visible

Starting first mission show only a black screen with text and audio narration. At that time, you have to wait the end and try to go further by pressing spacebar, many times, until it continues. Then you can play and all fine but the small video describing each hint which is not showed
Except for a minor issue with still images the game works smoothly out of the box.
Still images are not being displayed.
Installed the demo version.
Game loads, menu displayed well and options are all accessible. Managed to hear the narrator and some captions that´s all.
