The first few story missions have a lot of intermittent stutter. Afterwards it seems to go away
It should be classified as "Playable - minor graphical issues" instead of "Verified" in my opinion.

Out of the box settings result in a playable 30 FPS in most situations in game. Most areas become more stable after you have been in the area a little bit.

Frame drops in some areas near the beginning of the game.

You need to have ran the game atleast
- I went into desktop mode
- Opened steam and on the game I clicked the little cogwheel dragged my mouse on manage then clicked on browse local files
- open the GraphicsOption.JSON file with kate, and you will find a line which says 'FRAME_RATE_LIMIT=0' or a 1 instead of a 0
- the numbers correspond to different Frame limits (duh), these numbers are: 0=30, 1=60, 2=90, 3=144, 4=no frame cap
- change it to a 3 (I know the OLED can only do 90, which it won't reach but it makes the game smoother)
- then save the changes, return to gaming mode and start the game
The opening mission with Connor, where he plays with a coin in the elevator the audio either crackles a bit then stops and then continues after this I have not seen it happen to any other part in the game
I got some performance issues usually when there was a lot of rain but only once or twice
The game usually ran between lows of 30 or highs of 50 (sometimes 60), there are some moments however where it went below 30:
- the opening Connor mission when Connor goes out and gets shot in the shoulders gets around to 19 fps for that one moment
- when Kara is looking for shelter Not gonna list more because I don't want to spoil for people who want to experience the game for the first time
The Video settings I used:
- Fullscreen: windowed borderless
- Resolution: 1280x720
- Vsyinc: off
- fps limit: 30 (it is still the 144 like how I told you to set it in the JSON file)
- FidelityX Sharpening: off
The graphical settings I used
- Texture Quality: Low
- Texture Filtering: Low
- Shadow Quality: Low
- Model Quality: High
- Depth of Field: High
- Motion Blur: Ultra
- Volumetric Lighting: Low/Medium (I forgor which one)
- Sceen Space reflections: Low
- Ambient Occlusion: On
- Bloom: On

Very unstable framerate
With the normal Proton you get 10-15 fps even if you go as low as possible in settings. Switch to GE latest to fix and put fps limit to 30.

Not fun! Some quick time events lag out that change the story. Makes for a frustrating experience
Not 16;10
Framerate extremely low at some crucial points
5/10

Runs amazingly with some minor FPS drops and audio issues but won't hinder your experience at all.
Lowering graphical quality
Fell out of sync very mildly due to FPS drops not unexpected for a pretty demanding game.

I changed to 30 fps in game and on steam deck.
It rans fluctuating between 30 to 60 fps. The game allows just 30 or 60 fps to play. Best bet is to use 30 to have a stable experience. This game doesn't require high fps anyway.

严重的cpu瓶颈导致了掉帧与闪退
cpu!!!!!

this game is very hard to have a stable frame rate but it can be fixed
IN-GAME
- Windowed Mode
- 1024x576 (sadly only 16:9)
- Res Scale: 0.70
- FPS limit: 60
- V-Sync: On
- FidelityFX sharpening: On
- Visual Quality: Low
- Texture Quality: Low
- Texture Filtering: Low
- Shadow Quality: Low
- Model Quality: Low
- Depth of Field: Low
- Motion Blur: Low
- Volumetric Lighting: Low
- Screen Space Reflection: Low
- Ambinet Occulusion: Low
- Bloom: Off
Steam Performance Tab:
- Frame limit: 60fps
- TDP Limit: Off
- Manual GPU Clock: 1600
- FSR
- Sharpness: 5
- Proton Experimental
I did try this but not sure if it does anything: INSTALL FOLDER, the json config file:
- FPS_LIMIT=3
The main change is using Steam's FSR with sharpness which makes the game way nicer. For that you need to change in game using Windowed Mode with a res of 1024x576
Framerate drops

Playing on StreamDeck with a PS4 controller, the game shows input mapping for some other controller
I played on a SteamDeck connected to a TV while using a PS4 controller.
With Steam Input, the game shows mappings for the wrong controller.
Without Steam Input, the game does not detect the controller at all.

I recommend setting the refresh rate to 40hz /40fps or 30hz/30fps as the game only has 30fps or 60fps modes.

Disabled the right trackpad to avoid accidentally messing up quick time events
Some stutter and framerate drops in large, crowded scenes
Game instantly crashed upon finishing the first chapter, but never again
The game defaulted to low settings, 30 FPS cap, 70% resolution scale. You can comfortably raise the resolution scale to 100% with no problems and you might be able to take things up further, but the game runs and looks fine. It should be noted that stuttering was particularly noticable for about the first hour, but eventually goes away for good.

gamemoderun %command%
Graphic settings set to low, is limited to 30fps but usually will sit at 15FPS. Limit in Steam Deck side panel options to 15FPS more most stable playthrough
Recommended on a Linux PC with better hardware than the Steam Deck
I limited fps to 30.
Disable resolution scaling if pixelation is too distracting, then limit fps to 30 to save battery.
30 fps, low graphics
Fps drops here and there but nothing significant.
Runs fine but as expected it drains the battery fast.
the shader compilation at the satrt took like half an hour to complete
The game probably only supports 16:9, unfortunately 16:10 is not possible.
When there are a lot of objects, sometimes the FPS drops.

Runs at once after typical install - automatically added low settings and all is smooth and quite good visually
I need to know where are the similar games. It looks as prepared for steam deck.
16:9 resolution instead of 16:10
Toggled L1 (examine) button
Locked refresh rate to 45
Pre warming graphics menu before game required touch screen to accept; changing the trackpad to mouse doesn't accept cursor selection
Can be combated by changing subtitles to medium or large
At the lowest settings at native 800p resolution and scaled down by 30%, indoor scenes usually hover around 45 FPS while outdoor/busy scenes can drop as low as 30 with some rare dips below.
30FPS Frame limit
(None)
Medium GFX, 60FPS cap, very smooth gameplay. Stunning game to play on the Deck. Steam shows as Unknown, game runs smooth. No tinkering required
Very slight reduction in performance here and there, but overall a perfect experience. I preemptively increased subtitle size to "Large" and it was more than enough to see clearly even from medium distance.
