This has only happened twice in chapter one where you were running to the exit and the sound of pipes bursting suddenly stopped for a moment
You don't need to switch compatibility tool as the game runs fine with the default linux runtime 1 but only by switching to any version of proton (be it Valve official or GE) will achievements for the game actually unlock. Please note that if you switch from linux runtime to proton your save will be deleted because the game has no cloud sync
When you start an audio log the text may be a bit difficult to read for some people
- In chapter one when running away from Bendy the sound of pipes bursting weirdly stops before it is complete.
- In the end credit of the game the entire things just craps itself, this includes the sounds crackling/abruptly stopping and the visuals freezing, then skipping the moments it was frozen for.
When you go full screen the game doesn't know how to handle 800p so it just zooms in, fills the screen in with that and calls that a day. The way to avoid it is to go into advanced settings turn fullscreen off and change the resolution to 720p
Rarely happened but when they did you could tell that they happened
- when in dust the framerate will go low (30-ish frames and less then 30 if an enemy is in the dust attacking you)
- the Bertram fight will make the framerate tank (40-ish when you begin the fight, 30 when you start breaking him, 20 ish when he is close to being defeated and between 19 and 15 frames when you defeat him and his whole defeated animation plays)

I didn't change any graphical settings in the game except for these:
- turn full screen off and change resolution to 720p (this is so the game doesn't stretch when trying to go fullscreen and make things look weirder)
- turn film grain off (this was just a personal preference as I liked the look of the game with it turned off)
The audio logs' text can be a bit small and hard to read but they read themselves out so no real problem there
- In the opening when running to the exit the sounds of pipes bursting and the wood breaking when parts of the ceiling fell either stopped halfway or crackled
- The end credits just has a meltdown the screen and audio freeze then skip moments, the audio crackles when it isn't missing
The game handles 800p a bit weird with fullscreen and just zooms in to fill out the space. To fixt this you just need to set it to 720p and turn fullscreen off.
The game gets good performance (average 40-60 fps) with the highest graphical settings (without fsr on 720p). There are some instances where it can drop:
- When in dust (the yellow foggy things) performance can drop (hight to low 30), however if there is an enemy attacking you in the dust it drops below 30 fps
- In the Bertrum Piedmont fight the performance goes on a quick descend (40 fps at the start of the fight, 30-ish when you start destroying him, 20-ish when he is nearly destroyed and 19-13 in the animation where he dies)
Other than these two cases, there is no place where it really drops low.
I also want to add that if you have the Black and White filter on I think the game gets a bit worse performance from my experience (not a big one, just around a 2-4 frames less in average).
I have not really changed any graphical settings except these:
- Turned fullscreen off
- Changed resolution to 720p
- Turned film grain off (this was just a personal preference)
You need to have ran the game atleast
- I went into desktop mode
- Opened steam and on the game I clicked the little cogwheel dragged my mouse on manage then clicked on browse local files
- open the GraphicsOption.JSON file with kate, and you will find a line which says 'FRAME_RATE_LIMIT=0' or a 1 instead of a 0
- the numbers correspond to different Frame limits (duh), these numbers are: 0=30, 1=60, 2=90, 3=144, 4=no frame cap
- change it to a 3 (I know the OLED can only do 90, which it won't reach but it makes the game smoother)
- then save the changes, return to gaming mode and start the game
The opening mission with Connor, where he plays with a coin in the elevator the audio either crackles a bit then stops and then continues after this I have not seen it happen to any other part in the game
I got some performance issues usually when there was a lot of rain but only once or twice
The game usually ran between lows of 30 or highs of 50 (sometimes 60), there are some moments however where it went below 30:
- the opening Connor mission when Connor goes out and gets shot in the shoulders gets around to 19 fps for that one moment
- when Kara is looking for shelter Not gonna list more because I don't want to spoil for people who want to experience the game for the first time
The Video settings I used:
- Fullscreen: windowed borderless
- Resolution: 1280x720
- Vsyinc: off
- fps limit: 30 (it is still the 144 like how I told you to set it in the JSON file)
- FidelityX Sharpening: off
The graphical settings I used
- Texture Quality: Low
- Texture Filtering: Low
- Shadow Quality: Low
- Model Quality: High
- Depth of Field: High
- Motion Blur: Ultra
- Volumetric Lighting: Low/Medium (I forgor which one)
- Sceen Space reflections: Low
- Ambient Occlusion: On
- Bloom: On
