Works smoothely OOTB

Tried playing with proton 9, hotfix and experimental. They caused a screen freeze bug at certain location on first mission. Lowering graphics preset to low fixed the problem. But I wanted to play with higher settings. Chaning proton version to 8 allowed me to progress even on epic graphics preset.
Artifacts wentt away after switching to Proton 8.0-5

Maybe I'm just unlucky but I'm not getting anywhere near the smooth experience everyone else seems have.
30 FPS cap
Most menu text
Even on the lowest settings and reduced resolution, there are major performance drops (sub-20 FPS) whenever the camera rotates. The drops are even worse when zoomed out.

Plays well, just the usual ghosting from UE5 TAA, I set antialiasing to medium so its FXAA and it works well, but lights can sparkle a bit.

Some text might be a bit too small for the deck's screen
Absolutely zero issues - works perfectly by default

Set to 10W, could run with lower
Locked to 30 FPS and 10W, works perfectly even with mods.

Limit to 45FPS (OLED)
Works out of the box
Runs great on Linux, great game for Alien fans.

Artefakte beim Charakter mit aktivierten AMD FSR auf Quality
Ohne proton experimental startete das Spiel nicht. Kein Fenster, keine Fehlermeldung nichts.

Limit to 45fps
Great game, works fine on 45fps with occasional drops to 30 on low graphics settings. Controls are totally working, no changes needed.

Works great right out of the box. I'm getting a pretty consistent 40fps on medium settings. Pull the AA up to high - it doesn't affect frame rate that much but it helps a lot with items that have a lot of parallel lines (e.g. corrugated metal) looking right.
The only slowdowns I've noticed are in some of the in-base menus, where somtimes it will dip into the high 20s. Still totally playable, not disruptive.
Great game for the deck.

Works great. no issues

Plays smoothly, all cut-scenes played. No issues.
In normally crowded scenarios, performance is perfect.
This game can get bullet-hellish at times. With 40 enemies or so on the screen, Unreal Engine and most general-purpose engines will suffer. CPU temps will be higher than GPU's, and the CPU single-threaded performance is most likely to be the bottleneck.

After 18 hours in, still runs flawlessly
Works out of the box, no special configuration. Install, press play.

Used 40Hz refresh and 40fps limiter.
Keeps to 40 fps most of the time, dips occasionally under 30. Doesn't hurt gameplay though. Text is readable and controls work out of the box.

Works out of the box
1080p Medium. Any bugs I've encountered appear to be with the game itself but these are being patched by the developer.
Runs well with Proton 8.0-2 and no tweaks. I experienced one random crash (with an UE4 crash report dialog) which seems on par with Windows users. Minor audio crackling during cutscenes. Performance is fine with 40-60 FPS with all settings on Epic except AA off @ 4k resolution. Alt-tabbing resulted in an invisible mouse cursor once (but was usually fine). Alt-tabbing again resolved the missing cursor without restarting the game. Keys can be rebound freely with conflicts marked, but the conflicting binds not erased (a godsend for anybody that wants the default key positions with a non-QWERTY keyboard layout).

C[haned to 30fps
frame drops sometimes to just below 30
as of 21 jun 23 awaiting first patch as a few bugs nothing major. Had 1 crash in about 4 hours gameplay.

Text is small, readable on default settings though
Hair in cutscenes was glitchy

Out of the box, runs great, and is rad
LOOK INTO MY EYE... yep: it runs great. ... FOR NOW....

Works very well, the texture streaming issue is noticable but minor and fixes itself in a few seconds
Low-res textures when loading new areas initially

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
Just boots up and runs fine, takes a while to launch but aside from that. No real issues.

No audio or video glitches encountered so far. Game crashed during early mission but unsure if this was due to Steam Deck compatibility or general first release bugs.
