To bad :-( I cannot play it.
I tried to play the Beta and needed Proton-6.14-GE-2 on steamlinux to get it to run. I have been in the gamelobby where I can see constantly that the connection to the chatservers is lost and that "we" try to reconnect. I never use a chatserver but was not able to turn the chatserver of. I played the game "RUN" for a view seconds before loosing the connection to the gameserver. After trying to login again someone else had my place and I can only play as a spectator. So the lobby looks fine. Bud the game cannot be played (jet) No! I wil not become an Windows user :-) I also have tried it with older Proton versions but than the screen freezes. And with Proton-6.14-GE-2 only the connections get lost so thats it. To bad :-( I cannot play it.
Update: Won't run on Proton 6.3-5
Becaus Proton 6.3-5 is the lates official release I also tried that. Bud than the game freezes at the start untill I force quit after a view minutes.

Works fine with proton 5.0. - +260 FPS. Only had to set the game start option PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% to not crash after a movie.
Does not start. I tried diverend Proton versions from experimental to 6
The login screen loads and the buttum right below shows "running" but to bad, nothing happens from there,,
I can play the game only at chapter The Caspian after I freed the lady from the lighthouse. The screen (doesn't) load and the guidance text freezes. The entire game freezes.
The game only crashes during loading where the player has to wait for a "press E" button to appear. the button never appears
I already have the normal version and I enjoyed playing this version with heavier settings. My hardware can handle that easily. Now it's frustrating that I can't finish the game
Even though the game is a bit old, I still hope for a fix
Proton is always developing so if its not working to day maybe next week it will. You have to try some. In the most games Proton works!
installed a couple of times. works like normal on 1600x900 but crashes on full screen. Also crashes on 1920x1080.
older proton versions seems to not working. I also upgrated my graphic driver to find a cure
give it a try and stay calm :-)
A bit low framerate. after chaning the settings to some simpeler it runs ( for me ) acceptable

It look like the game is normaly playable. Toniht I want to plat onlie with real friends in stead of bots. I just copyed the game lauch optons of fajr. Started it now for a view times, it runs wel and play's fine! On my older hardware

The one issue is with eac that seem to not running en that for I cannot play with my friends or save a game.
Don't know how to get anti cheating anabled

After installing Proton 5.5. MAN! I don't know what they did but it is working fantastic!

The game starts but crashes as soon as the mission is loaded. I have tried all the tips but it doesn't work. Temporaly_laucher_workarround_bypass_launcher not working But I wil NOT go back to Microsoft.
