Updated settings.ini
to support a custom framerate of 75
.
Extremely infrequent and distant texture artifcating at maximum settings. Honestly not a concern.
Likely just as good on Linux as on Windows.

I have the ntsync
kernel module enabled.
Works great
Too new to make absolute determination, but gameplay felt solid for what I believe is delay-based netcode.

Note: gamemoderun
does not make you better at the game.

Updated configuration files per this article after first launch: https://archive.is/lbyO5
What a phenomenal game. I had issues getting it installed automatically through Lutris but had no issues after doing it manually.

delete game compat files before launch
The game fails to launch if I do not first delete the compatibility files created from the previous launch (SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1778820
).
While I do experience a minor issue with the compat files, I do not think this is a large hurdle for entry and does not detract the enjoyment of the game.
The game runs essentially as good in Linux as it does in Windows, sans the unusual cutscene resolution issue.
gamemoderun %command%
The cutscenes / videos would play at a much lower resolution than expected. This was solved by changing the resolution to fullscreen
instead of borderless window
. Unfortunately this locks the game to 60 fps instead of my monitors 75.

The cutscenes are broken on GE-Proton9-25 at least, if using GE go for GE-Proton8-X.
