The game runs essentially as good in Linux as it does in Windows, sans the unusual cutscene resolution issue.

The cutscenes / videos would play at a much lower resolution than expected. This was solved by changing the resolution to fullscreen
instead of borderless window
. Unfortunately this locks the game to 60 fps instead of my monitors 75.

Needed to set amdvlk as the driver with this command for day 79, otherwise has been pretty smooth.

As others have mentioned, day 79 breaks with the default MESA driver

Game worked great up until Day 79, the game just freezes on the loading screen before a battle, probably due to some specific effect. As a workaround I installed AMDs vulkan driver (amdvlk package on Arch), with this one the freeze doesn't happen and I could play through that battle. After Day 79 the Mesa driver worked again without any problems.

Yeah, the sound is cracking and I think it started after the SteamOS update but I'm not 100% sure
I'm having sound issues, the sound is cracking and it makes playing the game less comfortable. But I'm sure they weren't there all the time, I think something happened after the SteamOS update. Tried changing Proton version, but nothing helped. Also I think that the game at resolution 1920x1080 is cleaner than on 1280x720, which theoretically shouldn't take place.
On Day 79 during "the event", the first battle will NOT load (the loading screen freezes forever). I've tried literally everything (different Proton versions, gamescope, Lutris, verifying/reinstalling, etc), and the only thing that fixed this was... porting my save to a Windows PC and running it there. I have a feeling this is an AMD driver on Linux issue, but I really have no way of testing this further. YMMV.
No issues yet after 40 hours played

text may be hard to read on 720p , change resolution to 1080p instead

Gameplay, 3D Cinematics, and everything in between works amazingly. just choose Proton 9.0-4 from the "Compatibility" setting. Tried on both PC and Steam Deck.
P.S. i haven't finished the game yet, but i do believe i've seen all different gameplay mechanics and can confirm they run with no issues. Unique game-breaking bugs could possibly exist later on, but i haven't had any. will probably report again when i finish it...

No issues found. Subtitles readable from screen. Saves work. no audio issues.
It works. No isues.

Works like an absolute charm.
Works really well, no tinkering required. The games performance is amazing which is to be expected given my hardware. The game picked up my xbox controller instantly. No issues whatsoever, its the ideal linux experience. It even picked up my demo save file first try. Fully recommend.
