Disabled Steam Input
Fullscreen/ Windowed mode settings not respected, keep reverting
Need to disable Steam Input when playing with external controller, otherwise controls stutter/ are non responsive. Works fine when played portably using onboard controls.

Got to main menu everything looked perfect until once loaded into game missing most textures if not all.
Game was not rendering textures besides some
Probably due to my hardware i couldn't bypass 20 fps during gameplay

Fun and Frustrating Friendslop
Sometimes inputs wouldn't trigger the expected effect right away. Example: when I go up to a wall and press left mouse button, it would take about a second for my character to start climbing, where others don't seem to have this issue. Also there are especially problems with holding on to Pitons, where the inputs confuse the game somehow and it acts irrational at times.
Game is still being worked on and they add new features every now and then, therefore bugs are to be expected. They openly discuss the bugs they find and work on.
It works out of the box and I have been playing with people using different operation systems without issue. I don't know how well mods would work, but I was able to join someone who has mods installed and they worked.

no flickering, no lod problems, no stability issues, no crashed, works like a charm.

The fog effect was straight up missing.
using zink sometimes causes insta crashes, tell mesa to not guess by telling it which vendor to choose. "radeonsi"=amd "nvidia"=nvidia etc.

Game works fine out of the box.

flawless mod support via r2modman, online works as expected

Heat distortion effects caused player models to look "doubled" around the edges

I have the ntsync
kernel module enabled.

в игре плохо работает микрофон .
Игра отлично работает без дополнительных заморочек.

Game would freeze occasionally. mainly when entering a new area. Fixed this by limiting my FPS from unlimited to 140
I'm guessing my FPS was fluctuating too much causing the freezes. limiting the fps worked perfectly. I'd think with good enough hardware this wont happen on unlimited FPS

Lowkey, it's PEAK.
Using the Vulkan renderer crashes the game instantly. Use DX12!

Tried running it on Prothon experemental / beta / 9.0-4. max fps with all low settings (even screen resolution) was 27. with prothon 10-10 fps is around 80. maybe if you have better than i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz or you somehow use 2070+ on arch, should run smooth as butter
the game runs perfectly, I only had issues when I tried using thunderstore mod manager for modding, but the game itself didn't have issues

i did play it without any tinkering with proton 9-..... but i wouldn't recommend it. it wouldn't launch the vulkan version and was over all not the best expereance. after i did a little tinkering I switched to proton ge 10 and idk how much its doing but enabled ntsync and i have a stable 100+ fps so do that :)
Installed steam via snap, to get the mic working i had to do this: snap connections steam # to list existing permissions sudo snap connect steam:audio-record :audio-record # to enable (not the games' fault)

works out of the box no tinkering required

Works perfectly, multiplayer had no issues
Works smoothly out of the box
All of my friends playing on Windows had occasional crashes and errors, however I was able to play without any errors (played more than 3 hours in each session).

Works perfectly
I was using the vulkan renderer and did not experience any issues, though I never tested DX12/vkd3d so I do not know how they compare performance wise on proton

It can be played without problems. My friends with Windows have had more crashes than me, which, oddly enough, have been a total of 0.
game just worked

Vulkan version was buggy at the begining at to use the DX12 version
Since updte 1.7a Vulkan version work so far

Works great using DirectX
Choose DirectX to launch the game, not Vulkan as it doesn't reach the main menu. However this is also the case on Windows so is likely just a bug in the game.

Game crashes every time when attempting to use Vulkan instead of DX12.

Ran out of box with no issues, played with friends with no problems!

Generally Works | Achievements may be Impossible due to Instability
= Common Issues =
- Crashing upon Startup (Fix: Change Proton Version and/or DirectX Version)
- Crashing at Random Points throughout Play (Fix: N/A | Crashing also occurs on Windows)
- Artificating (Fix: N/A)
Many issues may be fixed within the next few months. Still an impressive and fun game considering it took about one month to make.

Works great OOTB

Set the game to Vulkan instead of DirectX
It works eitherway (since DXVK is a thing), but switching to vulkan (during start, you have the option) makes it work ever so slightly faster.

Decrease graphic settings
Everything works great. I would liketo see battery usage optimized.

May require manual toggling the default speaker in case no audio. PEAK may also not find the microphone input needed for in-game voice chat.
Mouse & Gamepad not supported simultaneously. Some gamepad bindings are also missing and cannot be remapped in-game, requiring Steam Input but incomplete on this version. GUI may overlap showing keyboard icons and gamepad simultaneously, goes away when switching inputs

Works perfectly!
