Crashes often when using Vulkan
Needs to change to Proton Hotfix (as of 17/06/2025)

-force-vulkan
!This is a very early report! Since there wasnt any reports about this game here yet, i chose to conclude what i read in a steam thread. Take this with a grain of salt, to improve over time.
The game seems to run fine when using Proton Experimental and setting the vulkan launch options.
(i havent actually bought this game yet, i just want to get the discovery on linux rolling)
Seemed to work well out of the box. Only tried it quickly. Haven't played it properly yet.

Using DX12

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=0 %command% -dx12
Must enable Compatibility for the game in order to be able to install.

Need to force proton use, that is all

game-performance %command%
Perfect

Runs great on linux, even on older nvidia hardware. Played with friends running natively on windows without any issues.

just works!

Worked like native. Had to toggle forced compatibility just to download the game though.
Actually used Proton 9.0-4.
My friends had issues with crashing on slower computers and losing connectivity (all Windows), but I had neither of these issues. It did feel poorly optimized, but that doesn't seem to be a Linux specific issue.

Sometimes stopped accepting mic input - unsure if this is a game-wide issue or just Proton. Switching to a different input and back fixes it, at least temporarily.
After one game, the post-game death screen had no Next button or way to go back to the main menu, had to relaunch
There was no Proton version selected by Steam by default, maybe because the game is so new. Forced Proton Experimental and the game ran fine for the hour or so I played it.

Doesnt yet work
Upon launching screen is comepletely black with no sound

Voicechat is quite buggy but that is also the case for windows friends so probably not due to Linux
