When I start the game itself, there is sound and using the arrow keys makes sounds of a menu, but the screen is grey so its unplayable.
Don't believe the minimum requirements, I can run this on max settings (just shadows on high) on 720p and get stable 60 FPS.
Works perfectly on this proton version and ONLY in this version for some reason (the current default version is the 6.3-8)
For the adult patch you'll execute the patch found in the denpasoft site, that will extract the file "adult.xp3". Move it to the game folder and you will have enabled the content.
Pleasant out of the box experience, the v-sync doesn't seem to be working but everything else is working as intended.
V-sync not working (I'm using an ultrawide monitor)
Game starts normally but the screen blacks out before starting the first level, tried with proton 4.11-6 and 4.2-9, both with the same result, probably something with the system, but I couldn't figure out what.
Runs perfectly out of the box on proton 3.7-8, there is a bit less performance than on windows, but nothing too bad. The newer proton versions cause lag every time you move the mouse.

Works fine after ajusting the settings in-game.
Visual problem where only the last hovered button is showed, easily fixed enabling compatibility mode in settings. Other than that, it works perfectly out of the box.
the wmv incompatibility persists, other than that, the game runs flawlessly
Game wold work fine if not for the .wmv playback problems. Move the folders Common, CN, EN, JP to outside the games's directory. Then the game will run fine, albeit with no video cutscenes. (PS: disabling esync or enabling/disabling D3d11 did nothing or made it worse, keep the default configs on proton and you should be fine )

Working perfectly
Plays okay, some micro-stuttering and 10 fps less than windows. Remember to disable uplay overlay.
Runs great out of the box, but the framerate was 30-ish in the latest proton, in the version 3.7-8 i got 60 frames easily, even on an integrated GPU.
Intro video doesn't play, but the rest is pretty much running as intended using the qa-v1.0.1 beta version that can be selected in the game properties -> betas

Everything works as intended, I played a bit of the story and combat. Great performance
It opens Ubisoft connect properly, but the game just do not start.

Game works great out of the box, just the sound is bad. To fix it I just added "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" to the launch options. Good performance, even for an integrated GPU.
