Yes, I think they would in the end. If they commit a bit to understand how proton works for games.
The AA seems to be different than when running the game on windows, corners look more jagged.
It doesn't like if you try to alt+tab out of the game. That usually results in a crash.
When I drive around the city in a car/bike, there's a millisecond stutter happening every 5-10 seconds. Is more noticeable when you move you camera around. And is even more noticeable without DLSS. FPS doesn't drop.
When alt+tabbing.
DLSS work as decent as it does on Windows 10/11. But it doesn't out of the box. It needs special commands added as game parameters. "PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%"

I tried fixing it by installing lib32-vulkan-radeon and vulkan-radeon but not luck.
I think this assersion can be fixed, Is not the game that is causing this, rather some driver or kernel version but I haven't had the time to dig much more.
I’m glad to see that the devs took their time to make this work on the Steam Deck. A few months ago, this wouldn’t even launch on the Steam Deck no matter how much I tried.
The game runs decently at around 40–45 FPS with FSR3 and FrameGen on. The battery is taking a huge hit as the GPU is being pushed to the max, but I was able to get around 2 hours of playtime out of a single charge.
Controls are a bit finicky, but that’s just a matter of tinkering with them until you get them to your liking.

I modded the game and installed ReShade via a script.
Supports modding just as good as on windows and I was able to install ReShade via a script. Runs about 10-15 FPS higher than on windows at the same settings and same mods
I was able to play just the same way I was playing on Windows, lost about 5 fps when playing on Linux but that is not such a big issues when we are talking about FPS that go above 70-80 FPS
