Resizing the window experiencing a little bit glitches, but totally functional
To play the oped, go to https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install and run:
WINEPREFIX="<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/compatdata/1044620/pfx" PROTON="<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/common/<Proton x.x>" ./mf-install.sh -proton
Unity engine is well supported by Proton
Game freezes when exit. The ONLY way is to force quit (kill process)
Below may be useful if can't start the game
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Totally playable, other than minor issues
No anti-aliasing under fullscreen
- Freeze on quit, you have to kill the process manually
- Remember to use PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Feels like a native game when set launch option to "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" (without quotes)

Works out of box, other than some performance issues
The framerate is nearly halved under Linux comparing to that when runs under windows
Once set windowed mode, can't go back to fullscreen, need to restart game
Japanese font missing, tried installing corefonts but no use. Chinese & English works well.

Runs flawlessly out of box, but troublesome issues exist
Game crashes when switches to fullscreen, and will automatically turn into fullscreen on next startup, thus cause game unplayable ever again. Clearing default settings is required.
On the Main screen there are 3 hyperlink buttons, after clicking one of them you must wait for 1 minute to open the website, but the action is not blocked, you can do other things during this. However, frequent clicks result in game crashing
Tweeks are optional
You can press ESC to skip OP&ED if not install quartz and ffdshow.
I tried install them, but it will get stuck on OP&ED on my PC.
So don't need protontricks
I installed quartz and ffdshow, but the below mentioned crash still persists.
To be exact, the crash happens outside the Zelcova shop, after the line by Hiroki "I honestly remember having to treat you guys when we came here more than the taste of their cakes", the story then enters a flashback about the high school times. The crash will happen wherever inside this 7-line long scene.
Maybe it's because I am on Proton Experimental, but the previous reports didn't reveal the exact proton version they ran, so I also didn't try switching to another one.
I ended up finding a windows machine, skipping the flashback scene, initiating a quicksave, and then loading the quicksave on my Linux machine to continue playing.

If you entered fullscreen accidentally, press F5 to return to windowed mode.
不小心点了全屏可以按F5回到窗口模式
Issues with Chinese version:
中文版无法打开“加载存档”/“读取存档“界面，只能使用快速存取。
有少量字体fallback现象，但没有乱码不影响阅读

The font can be installed and rendered well
Unsolvable font missing
Font missing on every capital word. Tried to install MerriweatherMG font but dosen't work
Among all games by minori on Steam, only eden* is playable, all other ones suffer from the same font issue.

Window freezes randomly
When move the game window to monitor's borders (i.e. when part of the window is invisible), the graphic of game will remain still, but simply moving out can solve this problem
