The only thing you need to setup is the compatibility layer on GE-Proton8-30+ or Proton Experimental bleeding edge and the game works flawlessly! Without these you have a black screen on launcher, but if you know how the launcher is, you can play it.

You need a custom proton ( https://github.com/rovacado/proton-ge-custom-pso2/releases ) and a launch option (WINE_NO_OPEN_FILE_SEARCH="_na") to be good enough but now it's super enjoyable. No stuttering, no lags, no fps drops!
