There were minor performance issues, but were solved by adjusting V-Sync settings to double buffered.
Also the last two BG3 updates broke the game for me (crash at the start of the game), but was fixable as suggested by others, by deleting the PsoCache.pak file from the game's Data folder.

The game is well playable after some tweaks.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
To make it run smooth you need to turn off VSync set a frame limit in game. Unlimited framerate is causing regular slowdowns.
