Can reach main menu but cant start new game.
The opening promo vids (Play it cool, etc) can be heard but show black screen. Main menu and settings are accessible, but trying to start a New Game leads to an endless loading.
Videos crash the game
Can install and technically run, however the main menu pops up an advertisement video for iceborne that immediately crashes the game. This makes the game unplayable and locks the player out of any menu options. Research suggests it is a codec issue, but people have been asking which codec the videos use for two years with no answer.
Heavy and constant artifacts, ghosting and tearing on placed structures. Terrain and animals were fine. Otherwise plays similar to windows.
Creation of an Epic account is unskippable and there is no option to opt out of data collection. You are forced to agree to start the game.
